Trust me ladies, it's in the shitter. I'm thrilled to have retired, have been a customer since and can't even fathom going back. That's not to say I may never need to though...

But yeah, the business is totally in the shitter.

I started in 2000. At that point, the industry had already peaked in about the early-mid 90's. Lap dances were rare, corporate expense accounts were nice and loose, there were fewer clubs, fewer dancers and standards were higher.

The decline wasn't too bad though. I was still having quite a few $1K+ nights up until the year I retired, but I had to travel more to find clubs that weren't loaded with extras girl, with lower contact expectations and less money. And it would have been nice to work under decent management, which I actually managed to do with most clubs I worked in.

Girls who are starting now are mostly deluded about the kind of money they think they'll make and how glamorous they think it'll be. They're better off as a cocktail waitress in most cases.

    well
    yes of course,
someone has to run the place.
but not all of them have to be greedy cheese balls.
I am not, i would never open a place that takes advantage of the dancers
i just cant sit by and see women getting exploited at my own hands
i just cant. and being a member of the socialist party I see finances a little
differently, but i digress i strongly doubt that Ill look like the good guy here,
being that my only aspiration is to be a club owner/manager heck i'd even be a bouncer lol.

    cheers
