DJ Help
Personally I like our DJ ,,
However ,he keeps backing up the same song so the dancer can collect her things & get off stage ,,meanwhile ,,I am stuck on a pedestool danceing for a guy who thinks his song aint over yet ,,,,,,so I am doing one song twice but getting paid once !!
Physically its wearing me out too early with no money!!!
How can I talk to him about it ?
what are some songs /back beats ,,ya'll play for the transition of one dance 2 the other?
Any advice is appreciated ,thanks !!!!!

Re: DJ Help
This is an alien concept to me. I know it's done out in Texas, I believe, and I have heard about it from a few other girls from out of town. I've never had to do it anywhere on the East Coast, from FL to NYC. I guess it varies from club to club. Most places I am at are running 3 girls all the time, so it wouldn't seem to make much sense. I understand that you make tips onstage, and more power to ya, but that begs the question: Do you do any sort of "walk-around" after your stage set for tips? Or is it tips onstage only? I know some places only allow stagetips as part of a no tabledance rule or something. Most places I have worked either have seats directly at the stage, or are more classic go-go style where the girl goes around behind the bar/stage area after her set for her tips. Here it's pretty much a "that's your time onstage, and that's it" type of thing. No backing up or anything. The only time I have ever done that was for features/pornstars that have come in, and they're doing their tip round or a certain show, the yeah it gets backed up a minute or so. As for how to talk to him...geesh I dunno. Is it club policy , or does only this one guy do it? If management wants him to do it that way, and I suspect that is the reason behind it, then you'd have to take it up directly with them. And as for a backbeat...I don't really do that either. Talk inbetween songs as a transition, fade in/out. Also, here if you're not done collecting your tips when your set is over, a bouncer generally slides in and helps sweep it into a bucket or your purse or whatever so there's not a big jumble onstage.
waffles are just pancakes with little squares on them.
