    Default Tampa Area Suffering

I have a question for anyone in the Tampa area. I don't know if its my club or all over but I was wondering how has business been for the rest of you. I know the seasons over but I wasn't expecting this much of a drop.

It may depend on the club you're at. Which one? Also, it could also depend on how often you work...I've found, in my experience, that it pays off to go in 4-5 days a week, cuz you'll probably have a couple of really bad days at this time of year, but then you'll really bank on the other two. Problem is, you don't know which two they'll be, so you gotta deal with the BS before the payout. Also, keep in mind that the beginning and end of every month, no matter what time of year, are always extra slow because of bills and rent and such.

I know all about working This is my first day off after 12 straight days of work. Before I pack up my costumes and check out a different club I thought I'd see if the entire area is bad or what...

What you are experiencing in the Tampa Bay Area is the end of the winter visitor season. All of the warm winter places have seen the last of the snowbirds leave during the month of April, the last of whom left last week.

I was expecting the season ending. However I would have to say 90% of the customers I met this past season were not snowbirds and lived here year round so I was cautiasilly (sic) optimistic that this summer would be a better than last. I guess I'll stick it out a little while longer...

This season was much slpwer than last years. Gas prices and such are partly to blame. Also april is the worst month everywere. I think this summer is going to be slower than usual since this season was so slow.
