    Default Your favorite kick-butt moves!

    So the deal is, on Monday I'm going in to meet with a guy about a modeling gig, and I'm looking for some awesome moves that will help me prepare my body a bit more. I mean, I have a fast metabolism so I'm in decent shape, but I need to tone up a bit, mainly my thighs and butt area. I know that there is no way that I'll be all toned and kick ass completely by Monday, but I was hoping for some of your favorite moves that will have the greatest impact in the shortest amount of time. ^_^

    Stair walker on incline. I have one that feels like i am walking up a mountain! This will tone the butt and thighs quick!

    Don't have one. Bike on a high gear! Or you can do squats! Squats are great! Want resistance? Hold something big and heavy while doing squats!

    Also, eat very very clean. Like egg whites, whole grains, skinless chicken breast and vegetables. A bunch of water too. These will all make your areas look better even w/o exercise.

    Lunges with weights are also great and I can't say enough about how wonderful pilates can be. Pilates tones you up pretty quick. I've noticed the main thing is to really work out hard and not be half assed.

    walking lunges. Also work out a tiny bit before you meet this guy- it gets blood flowing to your muscles and makes you appear more tones. Also_ a tan works wonders for makeing one look toned. Good luck!

    also_ I do situps while holding a 10 lb medicine ball over my head w/ arms strait. It's like doing 30 normal situps but only doing 10 of these.

    drink a TON of water, so women can retain in sooo much water if they arnt drinking enough. stay away from foods that bloat, salt, heavy fiber, (its good for you but it takes some time for your body to get used to it if you dont already eat alot of it)sugar, alchol, that type of stuff.

    but most of all have perfect posture, this will slim you down alot in photos. if you havent done this type of thing before some other things to keep in mind...

    keep your eyes open and your face engaged, if your focusing to much on your pose your face can go limp resulting in a sleepy drugged look. also creating alternating angles with your body creates interest in photos. for example if your hips are going left, push your waist right and then point your face back to the left again, this makes greatlines in the body.if its a fashion gig, try not to look to porno (dont take this the wrong way, i know at least for me my fall back poses come from my dancing experence and it can look too sexy)

    OMG I have the same situation. I have a calendar shoot monday with my new agency and I'm trying to squeeze in time for exercise between exams and taking care of my mom. And I'm not satisfied yet! =\

    I'll go work out right now
