    What makes a good pole?

I have been looking to buy a pole for the home. I have 8 ft celings and carpeting. I want to practice pole work and worried that the pole I choose may not work out. Lil-minx, P.S. and my cat pole all look good and seem to be popular. Which one makes you feel secure when flying around the pole at home? If any of you have experience with any home pole kits, please reply.

I have a lil mynx at home and LOVE it. I got it in stainless steel and it is very sturdy...even my husband as flung around and done tricks on it. He is pretty good, he has a lot more strength than me at the moment and can do the one where you grip the pole above your head while standing with your back to the pole. then you pull yourself into an inverted pose and wrap your legs around the pole. (it's like doing a flip)
Anyways...go to www.californiapoles.com because they have better prices!

I bought a pole from sassysummer , I think it might work. She sells the Kittn kit poles. I dont know, I messaged her a few times with concerns. I measured from celing to floor 96.5 inches and I asked for a pole that was listed as 96.5 inches. I hope it secures well to the celing being that it is exactly measured.. I dont want it to wobbel. Hope it works out. Thanks for posting

i have one at home and can do all the tricks securely. you may think the price (£160) is dear but its worth it. well made, great instructions plus a dvd.
