    Default Berkshire Hathaway Meeting.

At least one benefit of owning Berkshire Stock is that I can attend the shareholders meeting. It is a huge event in Omaha that is more like a party.
Coverage will be live on Bloomberg Sat and Sunday.

We are going to the the cocktail party at Borsheims Jewlers.

Last year an entire flight of Australians flew in for the meeting. About 25000 people will attend at the convention center.

    This should be interesting..

And yes, I know that the return sucked this year only up about 3%, but we got discounts on all of our appliances at Neb. Furniture Mart and that saved me 35% as a shareholder. LOL.

Sitri, I assume WB isn't taking you all out to Dairy Queen for lunch.

Yeah, I've been there a few times. That place is a labyrinth.
    Former SCJ now in rehab.

not to worry on the future price of Berkshire Hathaway shares. Warren Buffett is about to cash in big time on his 'bets' against the US dollar ! And any company where a single share of stock sells for $2945.00 certainly doesn't have to worry about 'joe sixpack's 401k fund manager' manipulation - only top shelf funds seem to be interested.!

Well, back from the cocktail party at Borsheims and I can say that you can't tell a millionaire by their age, looks, or what they wear.
The booze was top notch. Bombay Gin, etc. I am a happy shareholder.. burp.

Glad you got your freebies worth Sitri ! And yes I agree that the vast majority of millionaires (not billionaires though) seem to keep a low profile in regard to fancy coiffs, fancy clothes, fancy cars etc ... after all, most of them pinched pennies for years to get where they are now.

And now for the question that I gotta ask ... what kind of rumblings did you hear re the future of the US dollar ? When drunk millionaires start talking, smart investors start listening (or at least I always did in Manhattan VIP rooms LOL)

Well, at the time I saw them they couldn't talk because their mouths were full of food. They have the entire 70,000 seat capacity Qwest Center booked and this morning Warren does a Q&A session.

There are more Lears in the airport than cars at a Nebraska football game. Well, maybe not that many, but a lot.
    I will post more later.
