Default this is gonna be tough

So the laws have officially changed in our area (it was up in the air before, but now the cops are very clear): we were once permitted to give contact dances here, and now we are only allowed air dances. And surrounding clubs have been raided, with fines handed out...managers are getting worried, and the rules have been tightened.

Here's the problem: how can I sell airdances to customers who are used to racy lapdances, for the same price?? With cops looking over our shoulder, at least for the next little while? I'm certainly not complaining about us not giving contact anymore- I like dancing clean, but I'm starting to worry our club is gonna dry up because (the kicker!) customers can drive five minutes away (to another province) for contact dances, for the same price as our noncontact dances.

I'm thinking I'm going to suck it up and go to the snobville, dickhead-manager club across the river because I'm sure there's going to be a huge exodus of dancers there soon anyway. BUT I'd really prefer to stay at my club because the scheduling is so much better, and the people aren't vampires looking to push me down the stairs.

I can deal with making less money, but I still want to make some! Is this hopeless? Any way I could make this fly?

first, do you mind contact? Some girls are completely okay with it but some are bothered by it. If you fall into the latter, this may be a blessing in disguise.

My old club used to sometimes be strict and sometimes be lax and there was definitely a drop in money when when had an air dance-only policy. I think the trick to getting multiples is to be a good conversationalist.

I don't mind contact per se- it more depends on the customer. Some creep me out and then I just airdance anyway. I think I will suck it up and at least try the land of french and cigarettes. The money is supposed to be far better anyway. And I can always come back.

Thanks for the advice...I will brush up on my conversation. I've gotten lazy and cranky lately- good conversation takes patience I think.

Dude, go to Gatineau. It'll be competitive, but it sounds like the clubs are going to clear out in Ottawa.

That sucks, I'm sorry to hear it. I kept reading your posts and thinking I should dance out there, as it sounds like the money is/was good.

But, because your club is tourist based, maybe it won't be so bad? Keep us posted.

do you have a VIP? they tend to let the dances be closer in those. perhaps you could just tell them you will both have a better time if you go to VIP, and maybe you could make more money doing that. if you don't, maybe drop a hint to the club that a VIP would be a good idea.

No, no VIP. Well....the 'raids' that the management was making us all afraid of haven't happened (not while I've been there, but lazy girl i am I've only worked two shifts thus far this week). And although I think I lost a little money last friday night because management is breathing down our necks so much (one customer who usually drops A TON on me complained about all the bouncers watching us and didn't spend as much).

No one's doing complete airdancing- it's like half and half. Overall I've been giving way less contact that I used to, and it hasn't affected my money. The Gatineau clubs have a lot of girls, but I'm still going to audition there next week...try to balance both clubs for a while (on the sly) and decide what's worth it more.

I just really do well where I'm at, for whatever reason. I made $880 on Sunday night and for a noon to five pm dayshift on Tuesday I made $580. I've just really perfected the tourist/ business guy hustle (70% of our customers). So I don't want to leave that unless it gets impossible. Business this week has actually been really good (the club was dead for a while but it's filling back up- die Sens die, lol). So I'm gonna wait it out, explore my options...we'll see.
