Hey Krys! How's NZ- where are you working at?
I'm going to Colorado Springs and Denver next month, so I'll let you know then. From what I've heard, CO Springs is not so good, and Denver is good if you're a hustler.

Hey Pretty Lady! Thanks for the reply ...
I wasn't dancing in NZ, just chilling and teaching yoga as well as working in the gym. I am in Cairns, Australia now - back at the club international and loving it! Had a year off so was pretty nervous going back ...
Would be keen to hear how you go in CO, any reason for the trip or just cause?
xo

No you don't need a liscence to work there. Go to Denver for the most money - Shotgun Willies is the #1 club out there, I made great money when I worked there, but they recently lost the head manager so I don't know what the scene is like currently. Diamond Cabaret in Downtown Denver would be my second recommendation, which is more upscale but not as much traffic. If your looking to go all nude I think the best place is Centerfold show club, followed by Penthouse. Anyone who wants to add anything feel free....
Shotgun Willie's is the most popular with the most traffic. Its emphasis is on stage work, with laps as a side. Topless only, with alcohol. Mixed blue and white collar.
Penthouse down a couple blocks from Shotgun's is just as nice, not so much traffic. Its emphasis is on laps, with the stages being the preview. Topless only with alcohol, but the lap-only area is no-drinks and topless or nude. Mixed blue and white collar.
Diamond Cabaret downtown caters to white collar. Ain't never been there - they tell me it's nice. Alcohol, good food, and I believe it's topless only.
Centerfolds is nude no-alcohol club, 18+. Step down from Shotgun's and Penthouse in niceness.
PT's Showclub is like Penthouse in the business model, except bigger and more blue collar. I understand it gets busy in the evenings.
Oasis has very nice trappings and blue collar reality. Best-looking stages in town, if they're being used. Air laps on the side. Topless only and alcohol. I saw very little money movement in there. I don't know how the dancers pull in decent coin, frankly. I must've been there at the wrong time.
The other places I've been to are Cheerleaders and Saturday's, which are your standard "neighborhood titty bars" (although I don't like that term).
Mainly just because- heard it was good money, and expect it will be similar to Montana in terms of club and customer dynamic. (And that's a dynamic I thrive in).Would be keen to hear how you go in CO, any reason for the trip or just cause?
Also have a friend of a friend to stay with in Co SPrings, hence the reason I'm going to give it a try despite the unencouraging reviews.

JZ, they tip on stage in CO, right?

Oh, yes. I mean, you'll have your people that stay in the cheap seats and want conversation for free, but guys generally know that good manners means tipping for the view. The crowd at a table will hang back a bit, then start trickling up.Originally Posted by scarlett_vancouver

The guys who tip a buck (loonie to you) kinda resent that 10% segment, because it drives up the market, but oh, well. (Except the Oasis. Hardly anyone approached the stage when I was there. Nice-looking club, except the "green" was noticeably missing.)
I gave a general overview. If you want specific information on specific clubs, I'll tell you what I know privately.

Beautiful city to live in, but I did not see much there in the way of money being spent in clubs when I was there. Your choices are either the Appaloosa or Fabulous TNT's which are alcohol clubs with cheap air dances. I only went to the App which is upscale looking, but imagine if your dances were already regularly priced at $10, and the club decided to do a dance special (2/$15).Originally Posted by scarlett_vancouver
The other place is a Deja Vu on the south side of town (nude on stage, N/A, very light one-way contact, not sure about the VIP). If you've heard the complaining from other girls on here you know what DV's are notorius for. I think they normally charge $20, but a lot of dance specials (2/$20, 3/$30) were being done there too.
As far as stage tipping goes, yes it happens but I really didn't see a lot of action at the stages either club I went to.
What really hurts CS is that Denver clubs with considerably looser contact rules are within a reasonable drive (70 miles I believe) and a lot of locals prefer to drive up there.
Former SCJ now in rehab.

Interesting stuff guys - thanks for the input.
I was just looking at the Shot Gun Willies site, that place is obviously huge! 200 girls a night it says on the site ...
Do you need a license to work in CO? And I am assuming Denver is the only worthwhile city to try?
No dancer license in Colorado. Just look hot when you apply. I know nothing about the application process.
"Denver," to be technical, means the Denver metro area. Two of the clubs I mentioned (Shotgun Willie's and Penthouse) are in an enclave called Glendale, and Centerfolds is in a suburb called Aurora, but it's all considered Denver. If you're looking for good income rather than a relaxed side job, yes, I think Denver is where you want to go.
By the way, the Denver profile will not match the Montana profile. The population of the Denver area is more than double that of the entire state of Montana. That doesn't make it all super-sophisticated and urbane, but it is an urban area. For information (propaganda) on the area, try or always good ol' Wikipeda at

Grouped in w/ Montanans now? Jesus, time to move.
The comment re: hustling seems right on. Definitely a shortage of aggressive, engaging, charismatic hustlers on the scene in this burg. There have been two clubs raided this Spring, so maybe a bit of reticence/wariness has set in, I don't know. They still gotta earn a dime. On a few occasions, I have been tempted out of silent pity to inform the girlz about Hustle Hut, but I didn't for fear of screwing w/ my mojo.
Too many young, thugged-out Mexicans for my taste at Shotgun. Ironic given rep as top joint in town. Just one yuppie's view; for all I know this is a profitable demographic.

Thanks for all the info Jay Zeno ....
and dayzed, what would your club pick/s be then?
It's probably a difference in time of visits. When I was there, it was lunch or early afternoon on a weekday, and it was blue collar/white collar combination. It seems to be plenty profitable.Originally Posted by dayzed

Colorado Springs is of course the birthplace of the Promise Keepers and many other like-minded fundamentalist organizations, beautiful if arguably one of the most appalling locales on earth and one for which I cannot provide any useful information.
Well, it's not an insult. A lot of girls from MT moonlight in CO, which is why I mentioned it.Grouped in w/ Montanans now? Jesus, time to move.
I will make it to Missoula at some point- I love MT too much not to![]()

Yes, Penthouse is owned by the PT's chain.Originally Posted by dayzed
I can't verify that Shotgun's would be the most profitable, but I will say that it's had the most traffic of any club I've visited. It's the best known club. I've met girls there who have worked there for a long time. I don't remember any specific numbers, but the level-headed dancers I've talked to there were happy with their income. Those are good signs to me.
Down the street at Penthouse, I've also met girls who have worked there a long time, another good sign. A couple years ago, I talked the business there to a very sincere dancer. She worked afternoons, establishing her base of regulars, and said her worst day was $400, her best day was $1400. However, she was at the top of her game, a charming lady, a people pleaser, utterly beautiful, and very practical in building her business at the club.

That is a great list! I'm going to steal that and share w/ my friends -- hope you don't mind.
Inspired by Mr. Zeno's prior comments, I decided to pay another visit to Shotgun.
- fun/clubby, had a good time
- still too many late teen (fake ID)/early-20s customers for my tastes
- many (young) couples parking at stages, tipping little or nothing
- only saw one stripper who seemed obviously over 30 (bummer for me)
- came w/ $600, left w/ $480 -- basically was ignored -- place seems very stage oriented (although lots of ladies tied up w/ regulars)
- little LD action going on from what I could tell
FWIW!
I work at shotguns and i do great. it's almost always busy and it's impossible not to make money. girls are constantly coming to work at shotgun's after getting fed up with other clubs. the crowd is really young, especially on the weekends, which can be frustrating. the only other place in town i would work is the diamond cabaret. money is not bad here in colorado from what ive read from girls on here working in other states.

For what it's worth there's a dancer at my club here in Portland who's planning on returning to PTs in Denver for a working vacation since the money is so good there.

Dayzed, when I was there as a customer I observed the same thing you described. Most Denver clubs have 3 round stages and don't seem too lap dance oriented. The club layouts aren't what I look for in a profitable club.
What club owners don't seem to understand nationwide, is that when a club is full of young customers, the DJ must CONSTANTLY push them to tip on stage, and needs to run dance specials to make the customers feel obligated to spend money on the dancers.
Obviously, as long as the clubs have plenty of dancers, they won't push the customers to spend money on tips and dances. What a shame.
Scarlett - We need to hook up n be travel buddies for the USI want to start travelling more down there but I want a buddy to do it with...
