If you don't like a particular dancer and you feel the urge to talk about her while she's on stage please TURN OFF THE MICROPHONE.

Sorry for posting that. After that happened to me last night, the rest of the shift was completely shot for me. I felt extremely self conscious whenever I was on stage and was just a bundle of nerves all night (and this morning cause now everyone thinks I'm a paranoid stripper). Ugh, the one night I ran out of Xanax. Sorry for ranting to everyone

That BLOWS. Common sense, not to mention courtesy, man! Did you tip him out after that???

You don't have to tell us, but now I am very curious what the rude son-of-a-bitch said that ruined your night.

I always leave the mike on, and occasionally it gets me into trouble, lol--but I have learned to be discrete for the most part.

Besides, from your posts I can't imagine why he would have a problem with you that would lead to such crass behavior.

Sorry your groove was thrown off...

This happened to me once, because I have an auxillary mic that goes directly to the dressing room. This way I can flip that on and be all "WTF WHERE IS GIRL X HELLOOOOO" without saying anything into the club itself. Well. I left THAT mic on one night, and went on a tirade to a friend of mine in the booth about a certain girl. Moments later, my phone rings. It's the housemom, and she informed me, while giggling, that "uh...you might wanna turn the back mic off". Oops. I always turn my main mic off, though. That's irresponsible on his part. I turn mine off because I've left it on before and coughed or sneezed or something near the mic and it goes thru the whole club. Also no one wants to hear me singing along with my favorite jammy-jam, which I am inclined to do sometimes. Sorry this guy ruined your night though....I would definitely mention it to him.

Okay, tell me you laughed and laughed. Because you KNOW that is worse and more embarrassing for him than you, no matter what he said.
