Zoe_en_Australie were talking one day when she said to me once, "I've had my best nights when I was up front with a customer and didn't bullshit them."
And I just leaned back and 'hmm' thought about it for a week and it's been steaming in my brain.
There have been times where I've been so fricken FED UP that I was honest to a fault. BUT I still made money. Such as:
"What do I get for $55?"
"A lapdance."
"Will you go home with me?"
"Not in your life."
"How much can I buy you for?"
"You will never have enough money to make you attractive enough to sleep with."
"Hey, will you talk to me (for free)?"
"Look, time is money, you have no money so I'm not wasting my time. You don't work for free do you?"
The other night I sold a dance because I said to a shop owner, "How would you feel if a bunch of people came to your shop, hung around and told you they weren't buying anything? You'd feel shitty and annoyed wouldn't you? So when are you getting a dance?"
-----
How does the honest and direct approach work for you?
