    Default Dallas, Texas

I am going to Dallas, TX in July. A friend of mine recommended that I audition at The Lodge. Anyone have any dancing information on the club? I have read the reviews on here and like what I see so far. Just wanted to get a dancer's perspective. Someone that has been there already or may still be there...

I called and emailed in my picture about a month ago and told them when I would be there.

Kitty, let me know what you think of The Lodge. I've been contemplating getting a job there and would love all of the info I can get. (aside from the reviews on this site)

Will do. I will write a review no matter what. I have found the reviews I have read on here very helpful so I plan on contributing back.

So far, everyone I know from Texas who knows about The Lodge has nothing but nice things to say about it. That's a very good sign!!!

the only bad thing (imo) is that there aren't enough customers (at least when i worked there) I tend to make the same money no matter where I work, but here it took an extra hour or so to make the same b/c of the low (spending custy) volume.

    Buffie,

How long ago did you work at The Lodge? Was it pretty recent?

I figured since I plan on being in Dallas for two weeks, I thought I would check it out for a few nights. Just to say I danced in Dallas. Also, if it funds the trip then even better!!

Yeah, i take breaks form my regular club and work there every once in awhile. It has been a few months. A few friends of mine work there and still like it compared to some of the others.

Each Texas city regulates whether a license is required by city ordinance which is city law. There is not "one state law" about licenses. Dallas - no license required.

That was one of the first questions I asked the house mom when I called the club. There is no license required.

I want to say that I danced in Dallas at least once...as long as it pays for my vacation
Are you "in" or "in the way"?

I worked in Dallas for three years. The money is okay, nothing to write home about. I left because it was getting impossible to do a consistent $400+ a night. Too many girls and too many clubs. Austin and Houston are much better for dancing. The lodge has a lot of girls and the competition is fierce. Think about Cabaret Royal or the Men's Club. A lot of girls move between the clubs. I would not recommend Dallas for june-september as it is dead dead dead!!! It is also so friggin hot. If you are going to stay in Dallas for work stay at the Hearthside hotel at I 35 north. It is not the best but you get a kitchenette for about $240 a week and it is close to all the clubs.

summer is slower but you can still average a good amount. I recommend Babydolls if you find the lodge is dead. There are always plenty of customers. Also there is a club called the fare owned by babydolls that is open until 6am. It is nude but you can pay 40 to skip stage and you do not have to get nude. I danced there topless , and your first 5 times working you dont have to skip stage to stay clothed, it is optional. I went here on weekends after babydolls all las summer and banked. I usually made b/t 200-400 per hour. I NEVER do danced downstairs, I hang out upstairs in vip ans hit up the guys with money, doenstairs and upstairs makes the difference the people downstairs are not who you wanna dance for, and there are no rules about going to vip without a customer. i would try this after whatever club you work at til' 2 ,if you go in after another club they only charge 10 fee (have your receipt)
