    Default Shoe Question!

So I've been checking out shoes on Snaz75.com, and I have definitely found several pairs that I am in love with. I just wanted to ask a quick question before I tried to order them. They only come in whole sizes. I wear six and a half - would you recommend going down to a six or jumping up to a seven? Do the shoes run a little big or a little small, or are they just normal?

I don't have to dance in them or anything, so I guess it's okay if they are not perfect. I need them for a photoshoot - but I still don't want to spend three hours in shoes that kill my poor little toes!

I recomend going to a dancer store first and trying on different styles to see how they fit you.. I find different types fit different. Maybe its just my weird feet? But I also notice some brands fit larger then others as well.

Buy the shoes larger and then put jelly insoles into them. That should compensate a half of a size. I bought myself shoes one size larger ( I loved the shoes and my size was sold out ) and just stacked two inlay soles on top of each other. Works really well. If the soles don't stay in place just use crazy glue to make them stay put.

I usually go down a half size since your feet slide forward and you want something that is going to keep your feet nice and snug in your shoe! I like the idea of going up a half size and putting in nice comfy soles though! AWESOME IDEA! I think it also depends on your foot...if it's narrow and smaller like mine is then going down a size isn't that bad of an idea...as it will keep your toes from sliding over the front of the shoes to much...and if your feet are thicker and wider than up a half size might be what you need to compensate.

life is to short to wear tight shoes.
insoles will also keep narrow feet from sliding forward.
my feet have been so much happier since the lady from the maceys shoe department told me that awesome insoles trick many years ago :o)

If they have a clear plastic toe strap i always go down a size. They hurt for a short while but the plastic eventually stretches and fit my feet really snugly. If its proper straps, ie. not clear, id go up a half size.

Also to get the plastic to fit better and feel more comfortable warm it up with a blow dryer for a few seconds to a minute before putting your foot into it! It will help it soften and conform to your feet!

I have narrow feet and I find I have to buy a half size down (10 vs. 10.5 or 11) to get the straps to fit properly. For some reason the whole insole thing doesn't work for me as far as getting my foot to stay put. Why are they all so wide anyway? I feel like past size 10 or 11 they expect men to be buying the shoes and they make 'em with super wide straps.

When buying an Open-toe high heel shoes, it is normally recommended to buy the same size you wear in a flat shoe. When buying closed toe high heels, it is normal to purchase 1/2 size larger than your normal flat shoe size. All shoes on Snaz75.com are only available in whole sizes, please order the next largest size if you normally wear a half size. (i.e. Size 7 ½ = Size These tips are taken from industry standards and should only be used as a guide for buying the proper size.

my foot must be on the narrow side then because my shoes always fit better when I bought them 1/2 size smaller. No claw toe and proper support. I could have ran a damn marathon in my stripper shoes.

I wish I could get my shoes to fit better. I've tried 1/2 size too small...1/2 size too big, inserts...everything. My foot is pretty flat and narrow...so it still slides forward. I am always combatting the claw toes look...grrrr....

The woman I deal with all the time over here at this stripper store near my house says to go a size smaller because they will stretch out to your foot and if you get them too big they'll just look funny with your toes hanging out the front when your foot slides foward....

    just my 2 cents!
