Default Hard to sell at the price...

I started off dancing at clubs that had $10 lap dances... those were easy to sell. But, every decent fully nude club around here (those are the ones that do ten dollar dances) seems to be dirty or the girls are SUPER cruel or both. So, I work at a peepshow but I'm looking for a decent topless bar (which are pretty clean since the dances are done in the same room as the stageshows and everything else).

The problem is: topless bar's sell dances at $20 a pop and they're much harder to sell. From my experiances, I can almost get a guy, then he hears the price, and declines. Any tips?

unfortunletly hun,, its hard to sell anything in this bizz at a high rate or price, ive been doing this for yrs and yrs. this indsutry is highly competitve many girls think that they can ask a customer for any amount of money for a dance the the guy will pay it thats bull,!!!!!! ive been dancing in club and private parties , i escort , i run my own escort serivce,,, what ive noticed customers or cleinst love low prices/rates no matter what your selling to them, when a customer calls my serivce for a girl ,9 out of 10 times what i hear is how much for the hour!! thats there main concern the prices, if i say its $300.00 for the hour the say which ive heard a million tilmes the infomus( ill call you back deal) never to hear from them agin,,,,, on the other hand if i say its $ 150.00 for the hour, they usally say great send the girl over right now & i make the sale, you need to decied what you like better to dance at an upscale place and not make any money casue dances are way to expensive or dance at a lower class club were things may not be up to your standards but your making money left and right! persoanlly ive made alot more money working at lower class clubs my slef, i remeber dancing at a club that was in an industryiall area run down ugly lookin club, they had no rules anything basically went in there , they didnt have a cover charge, the beers were $1.00 a bottle, the bathrooms were a disaster( lol) ill admit the place was intimidating ,, but since it was all so cheap ,it would supper busy 7days a week, day or night , the guys would throw money like water, and we'd all cash in really good. huggs, kisses and godbless

Madam Lizz does have a good point that the cheaper something is, the easier it is to sell. That's why stores put gum and magazines by the checkout counters- they're attractive, cheap little products that are easy to throw into the basket.

I still think it's possible to do well as a high-dollar item, though. I drive a brand new SUV, but nothing fancy. Yesterday, my good friend picked me up in his BMW SUV. As I was sitting in his car, the drive didn't seem much more special. His stereo system wasn't better, the leather seats were comparable in quality to mine, and the air conditioning booted up just as fast as mine does. Overall, the only difference was that we were in a BMW. Maybe we got different looks walking out of it. Or maybe I just imagined that I was more posh.

My point is that many consumers want to pay more for a status, even when there's really no difference in the quality of the product. Sometimes it's the guy at the club who wants his friends to think he's a baller for going to champagne. Sometimes it's a man who's all alone at the club, but wants VIP over a table dance because he's interested in the premium product. Many men who come into strip clubs are lacking something in their everyday lives, and I'm ready and willing to make them feel like superstars by taking their money. They *want* to give you their money, just like they *want* to give the BMW dealer an extra $15,000 for a car they could get at Toyota with a different label. Just like we *want* to give Seven Jeans our hard-earned cash rather than strolling into Target to buy a pair.

Of course you will hit the customer looking for a deal (You know, the losers who want two for one or to "make a deal"). When this happens, I'm just pretty straightforward: "Sorry, sweetie... I don't go on sale," and find another man who wants to pay.

The one single thing that helps me sell $20 dances (even when I'm in a club that also offers $10 dances) is to walk into the club with the mentality that *I am a luxury product.* I do not get discounted or wallow around on the clearance rack. My outfits are always clean, my legs shaven and my makeup pristine. I act charming and happy even when the club is dead. I am worth not only $20 for a dance, but a *minimum* of $20. This mentality is what allows any other premium product to charge what it does. Give it a try. It takes some getting used to, but you may find yourself doing very well.
