Default tips in addition to tabledance fee???

I hope I'm posting this is the right forum, if not, I'm really sorry! But I have this major question here and hope you can answer my question. First of all, tonight was my 2nd night dancing, ever, so I'm unsure about many thing. And I have to say, I definitely know what you guys are talking about when it comes to bachelor parties, ughhhh!!!!! While I'm on stage this guy that's a friend of the bachelor tips me on stage and pleads with me to come give his friend some dances. When I get to the table the one thing all these guys start saying to me is "try to talk him out of marrying that bitch" I'm like whatever, idiots, so are you ready for the best dance you could possibly imagine?" So I gave the bachelor 2 dances and must say, worked my ass off! During the 2 dances I gave him, all the guys in the group were putting dollars in my garter, which it came out to $15. Now, the money they were all putting in my garter during the dance, is that considered tips or is that to be considered to be counted towards the dance price? Because when I was done with the dances, the stupid fuckin guys weren't planning on paying me (the dances are $10 each so they owed me a minimum of $20) and the guy that came up to me when I was on stage and begged me to come over says to me after I'm done with the 2 dances "I sure hope you made some money for those dances." They weren't going to pay me the rest they owed me and that's when I said "You know the prices of the dances, if I were you, I'd pay me the rest of the money you owe me." That's when they gave me a $20 and asked for change back. Idiots!! So I'm wondering, should I have hustled the money they were putting in my garter as a addition to the tabledance price? What would you all do? DW, care to give your $.02? Thanks everyone!!!

The money in your garter is A TIP. it is NOT for the dance. They were being cheap.

The money in the garter was definately tips. Always stand your ground. If they still acted like idiots (and believe me, they knew what they were doing) get your bouncer or floormen to help explain things. Another helpful tip is to always get your lap/private dance money before you start dancing.

They totally knew what they were doing. Next time take the money, smile and say thanks. Give the bachelor a hug, then leave. They won't argue- it's your uncertainty that gives them fuel.

It was a tip, but STAY AWAY from bachelor parties (the only exception I make is if they are older and look like my typical custy) If i wouldn't approach a broke little boy why approach a gaggle of em? Even if they ask I usually decline unles we are dead. They probably didn't know any better or were trying to take advantage, but as always GET YOUR MONEY UP FRONT!! lesson learned, better luck next time

I make them tip before the dance if I think I can get them too. Try to get 10-20 for a tip. Tips are very important it can make the lap dance better.

Thanks ladies! I kinda thought that those were supposed to be tips in addition to the tabledance fee! Ughh, cheap bastards! Now I know and $20 learned, glad it was only $20 learned instead of a couple hundred! I also know if I ever deal with a bachelor party again that I'm getting my money upfront!

I had a bachelor party do something like that once..actually worse. Right after I danced, they tried to tell me I hadn't danced at all!! WTF?? Three guys all sat there and said, "i didn't see her dance?" The part that makes it funny though is it was a TABLE dance and the whole club could see it...not to mention it was right in front of the DJ booth. lol The bouncer came over and was like, "dude...I watched the dance, don't try to say it didn't happen."

Stupid idiots try to get out of THAT...

It don't sound like they had a lot of money. From my own experiences, bachelor parties usually don't spend a lot of money. If you ever feel uncomfortable ask for your money upfront. I usually try to get it up front unless I have a pretty good indication they will pay. Then after they pay and they tip the money is yours.

Well, if they don't have enough money to pay for the dance(s), they shouldn't either ask for them or they shouldn't come to a strip club expecting hand outs! They wouldn't go to work for free and neither do the rest of us strippers!
Oh, greenidlady, guess what? I started dancing (finally) at the Cheetah! And I'm loving it! Thought you'd like to know, I decided against The Men's Club in Charlotte, too far!

    definately tips !!!

I agree with the other posts in that most bucks groups dont have a lot of money to spend and will usually try the old... "he's getting married, so hows about a free dance ?" Unless I am approached by the group I tend to steer clear. Once you have started the dance any small money they give you I would consider a tip... Good luck

I have a good friend that works there but is working here till June. You probably haven't met her yet. I'll give you her name if you like, pm me. I heard it is difficult selling those VIP rooms by the hour sometimes. Are you doing okay with that part of it as well? Pm me and let me know how you are.

In those kind of situations definately get your money first. Generally in groups or when one guy wants you to give another guy a dance, get the money first. These guys were jerks and were just trying to see what they could get away with. I also try not to give table dances in big group situations because I find it makes them less likely to get lap dances and more likely to act like jerks. A guy by himself will be much nicer.
