Read around on the forums some; look in the clubs and reviews sections.
Agreed. There are tons of threads about that stuff - this site is absolutely great for newbies. Read as much as you can!
As for the jiggle on your belly, lots of girls dance that do not have perfect bodies. In fact, you will probably be stunned to see some of the girls in the dressing room compared to how they look on stage. The lights are flattering, and you can learn to do certain moves that make your tummy look better. I have a little bit of tummy flab, and I just try to move very fluidly so it doesn't jiggle all over the place. You will also probably notice that a lot of strippers tend to dance in kind of a sway-backed position. This sort of pops your butt out, lifts your chest up, and stretches out your tummy. It sounds like it would look bad, but it doesn't and makes your body look better. Mostly, I don't worry about it though, and you probably won't either, in time.
^^I second that! I waited forever to audition because I didn't think I looked good enough. I was stunned after my audition when she said she LOVED me. My first day, when I got to the dressing room I was so suprised to see what I did. Don't get me wrong, all the ladies I work with are great, but keep in mind that the lighting is VERY, VERY kind, and of all things, don't let that stop you!
