    Default Bitchin'

It amazes me how many girls spend their nght bitchin'. Why is this? Does everyone have to be on the rag at the same time! I love my club and the majority of the girls I work w/. But, Fri. night was something else. I don't know if the energy was wrong or what. Everywhere I went someone was bitchin. By the time the night was over I was so stressed from listening to the shit. I wonder why girls waste so much time complaining when they could be out making $$ I just want to choke ppl. sometimes...

I hate that too!! It's exhausting and annoying. I'm a pretty upbeat person most of the time and being around all the bitchiness just drains the life out of you. I do my best to ignore it - people think I'm from another planet because I'm in a good, peppy mood almost every day. Try to seek out people who share your mood and focus on the customers. The customers will pick up on the difference between you and everyone else. It's just more fun and easier to be with someone who isn't a big grouch. Even in my earliest sales jobs, I brought in $$$ with my hustle and positive attitude. Remember, people like being around fun, lively people.

That's why I stay out of the dressing room and away from the cliques that hang together at a table.. I like ot keep positiive, but other's bad moods can get me down.
Whenever someone claims I tell them it will get better or it's not that bad, or "have you tried another club?" he he

I agree it's a downer and can negatively affect your money....but sometimes you just need to vent, and it's nice to know others are in the same boat with you. On days when I MUST reach my goal I refuse to take part in the bitching. There are other days when I'll join in and get some frustration off my chest. It can feel good to go on about that nasty fuck who stuck his tounge in your ear and then tried to jip you. Just my 2cents.

    "Misery loves company"

I remind myself this whenever a girl starts bitching to me. I try my hardest to keep a smile on my face even when being rejected...even when I'm not making any money. Friday was hard at my club too. I'll admit for about 30min I got sucked into the, "I wanna go home, tonight sux" clique with some of the girls. I quickly regained my composure and started making my money!

Ugh. If I need to take a break and spend time in the dressing room, I usually have a book or something to do so I don't have to talk to anybody. I can really psych myself out if other people start saying it's a bad night...I avoid eye contact and pretend to be invisible until they go away.

Sometimes it feels good to complain and comiserate with your fellow dancers, but I try to limit the complaining to really, really good friends who know that I have listened to their rants/bad moods before. That way I don't bring everyone down.

I never understood. Maybe it's just that some gals cant get out of a funk. Personally, when I'm at work... good music, a few drinks, hot chicks... boogie-ing my booty about, I cant be in a bad mood. It'd take a LOT to bum me out with that atmosphere.

    hehe.. i crack me up...

i had girlfriend who would complain to me ALL the time. seriously, her complaints became the basis of our (limited, thank god) relationship.

it's easy to walk all over me in this way because im a really nice person who just wants everyone to be happy. i can continue to be patient after a point when most people (justifiably and understandably) would abandon a person. so, as i would with anyone else, i tried to be nice to this girl, because truthfully, some of her issues were legit. but one day i got fed up.

from the moment i met her to get dinner, she complained vociferously. she made her point in the first 45 seconds, but continued to repeat herself like 5 different ways for the next 15 minutes! i was so exasperated that i literally timed her.

once she reached the 15 minute mark, i just couldn't take it any more.

"WOW, you really lead a MISERABLE existence, don't you??"

    that shut her up.

    Hahhaha!!!

I can't say I never bitch... But it's probably once every month or two... and mostly when other girls are bitching. When they say something like, "Can you believe how slow it is! How am I supposed to pay for...." I usually join in. Not because I want to sit in the dressing room and bitch and miss custys, but because I don't want them to think I'm doing well enough to not want to bitch. Does that make sense? Lol
