This is a topic worth exploring in more depth. Certainly, stripper clubs are a man's world, management and customers, but without the girls, where would they be?

This is completely different than fighting back, don't you think? It stands to reason that dancers would select music they like, assuming it didn't alienate customers. Music has lots of room for irony, and this can be a good thing.

LOL, you are right, GW sent me to Iraq for a year Not necessarily a bad thing, but we aren't exactly doing everything right there, either

Most do that is for sure. Most things that are out of the mainstream sell, and dancers are definately out of the mainstream, no mater how "normal" they are :-) Sex or the hint of forbidden fruits does sell.

If I ever get the funds, I want todo a documentary that contrasts stripers at work and also follows them as they go through a normal day, getting kids off to school, hobbies, etc. I think this would sell.

A type of stripper that removes even the strongest, toughest enamel-painted facade. No, I mean it.

Music is marketing. When we're on stage we're not trying to get back at management or customers or whatever. We're trying to get a bunch of guys to want to line up for dances with us when we're off stage. Unless of course the guys in the club are young assholes with no money. Then I play dyke music and scare em off. ;-)

Hmmm is this what you're looking for? Found this a while ago while searching for articles/forums about other strippers:
