Default I cannot find inexpensive, nice closet boxes

    Hey there,
I've scoured the internet, gone to half a dozen stores, and even looked through magazines trying to find what I want, which is:

a nicely patterned file sized box with a top (either an attached top that can come down to close the box, or a removeable top), preferably with handles.

I found one that I liked at Burlington Coat Factory, in a nice red faux leather material, but it was sold in a set of four at $26. I wanted the biggest one but had no use whatsoever for the smaller boxes so have thus far decided not to get it.

Does anyone have ANY recommendations? I'm looking for something with a greater than two feet dimension, a greater than 1.5 foot width and at least a one foot height.

Can anyone help me? Especially if you've recently done your office and bedroom closets and know where to find what I need?

I've even considered spray painting regular cardboard office file boxes, but I just wanted something hardier and a bit more polished.

Check Ikea. I get rubbermaid shelve thingys at target for real cheap and I just stack them.

Try www.thecontainerstore.com. Some of their stuff is pricey, but looks nice

Well, the ones I like contain reams of office/copy paper, they do have lids. Have you tried Big Lots? Target seems to rock @ having organizing stuff, not sure about boxes, tho.

Also, check out those discount stores like Ross and TJMaxx. There's even one around here called Home Goods. Which is like... The home goods section of ross but it's a whole store.... I LOVE that store
