    Default Nailbiting

Well, I guess there's another strike against me... I bite my nails. Should I get some acrylics on before I go to a club? See if I'm hired first? Hmm....

I always keep my nails done because otherwise I bite them. You can go get them done if you want, or just buy a pack of fake nails from the drugstore- they usually last about a week and only cost $5 or 6.
Take the road less traveled- just make sure you have a map.

im a chrinic nailbiter, havent worn acrylics for AGES (although i think ill go back to them in the next month or so)

unless your working in ahigh class club i doubt guys would even notice tbh. but when you do have immaculate nails guys will pick up on that and comment.

it is better to have then no to have

I have a bad habit of biting my cuticles. I know, ewww. Since I've started wearing acrylics, I've stopped.

I bit my nails for as long as I remember, but when I got acrilics I stopped. Who want's to bite a 30$ mani? (Besides, they're pretty)

I do think guys notice. I get complements on mine, and if one happens to come off at the club and I can't fix it, I always get called on it, usually by the guys with the money (thus, class). A mani makes you look classy and sophisticated, like a woman who knows she's hot and how to get what she wants (money!!!) A mani also makes you feel awesome. I make more on the day I get them filled, I think, based on the fact that I feel to beautiful! Get the pedi too, great after a hard nights work!

P.S. manicures/pedicures help w/ getting hired in an upscale club. You need to look like you'll fit in (beauty-wize), even if your dance skills need work. They know dance skills come w/ time, and that you're nervous (most good managers, at least), but they expect you too look good. This includes hair (no 2/3inch roots, it should be sleek, shiny and beautiful), makeup (everyone has their own style, but be classy about it) clothes/shoes/jewelry (same deal, be your self [or your dancer persona] but keep it classy) and mani/pedi (same, makes you look classy) A basic french, can be as short as you want it, does tons for your overall look, esp for a biter!

Guys definitely notice nails. They like a classy polished look, long or short. If you're not sure about colors, then get french,or a light pink neutral color.

Once you start getting them done at a salon, you'll stop biting, they will be beautiful and too expensive to ruin.
