    Default Clothing for shoots

I need to gather some clothing for photo shoots for this summer. Its wierd beacause you really only wear them once. Maybe I should wear them again until the pic for that comes out right? Where should I start looking for clothes just for shoots. I plan on doing few editorial, commercial, lingerie, and pretty much anything that doesnt show "pink".
Does anyone else sell their used shoot clothing on ebay?

It really depends on your budget.... pretty much anywhere will be viable from op. shops to stores like Walmart, etc ... then just sell the clothes on eBay and/or in your club (if you have a club) or even have a "clothing sale" in the vein of a garage sale after you are done with a whole heap of them.

Anyway, that's what I would do...

When I used to model the stylists would just buy the clothing from stores with good return policies, and then return them after the shoot. You can cleverly hide/reattach most tags. Obviously you don't want to do this for more intimate stuff like lingerie, but if you need cutting edge (expensive) type clothes for an editorial shoot, it's a good approach. You can also approach newer clothing designers that are looking for publicity. Sometimes they are willing to give you the clothing for a copy of the prints. Which means free clothes for you!

I go through lingerie like crazy for shoots, and I really only can use them once. T.J. Maxx and Marshall's have become my best friends! They have cute stuff that is not expensive. Other than that, look for things on sale that you think you can use. You never know where you may find things.

I make custom clothing and would be happy to accomidate your needs... the outfits would be unique and if they are not being used for dancing there are a few corners that can be cut in order to save you some extra cash... Gen. my outfits run from $35-$120 depending on material costs... But I would be willing to works something out w/ you if you wanted a few outfits... or possibly using some of your photos for the site I'm building....

    Good luck
