Oh God... I HATE when they do something and tell ME I like it when I told them not to. "Well ALL women love their nipples twisted." or "You WANT your pussy touched, I know it."... or, the best, "Well it doesn't matter what the LAWS are, I know YOUR LAWS say I can touch your pussy" WTF.

I just quite dancing and, more than once, I've actually smacked them for being an ass. It's hard to get fired from a club and no one will fire you for being a bitch to a guy who asked to do something illegal.

Can you get the lap dance money up front? I always get paid before I do the dance, so if they try to get grabby and don't listen after I warn them to stop, I can just walk out. I don't put up with guys trying to touch/grab me- the money just isn't worth it to me. I will warn them once and tell them that I don't allow any touching, and if they do it again, I'm done.
Take the road less traveled- just make sure you have a map.

You want to be paid so you'll go ahead and let them touch? Sorry but that's degredation to me and I don't get paid enough for it. For every man that's an ass, you can find another who'll obey the rules.

I had this dude keep blowing on me last night and trying to stick his tongue in my ear or lick my neck when I got closer. I finally just danced a foot away the rest of the dance.

One bit of advice.....by saying that you cost too much, you are saying that you CAN be bought, and that helps them justify their actions as asses who treat you as an object and not the person that you are. I would warn them, and then go get a manager or doorman if they continued to misbehave. you don't deserve that kind of treatment, and they are best kicked out of the club if they refuse to treat you with respect.

In my experience after the telling them over and over and over doesnt work and you know they have money. Just start getting rough with them in a sexy way (sexy way to them) put your heel in their throat, grab them by the throat, throw their head back, pull their hair back... BE rough. If this doesnt stop them (which 99% of the time, they lose their train of thought and get into the being beat up little boy routine) then their money isnt worth it.

YOU are the boss, if you are worried about being fired for defending yourself, find a new club.

Best wishes Monica. I've been told in a certain club that the dancers and bouncers have worked out a signalling system to let the bouncers know when a customer is pushing his limits. I can't remember what it was, but it was something like putting your hand in the middle of the table and not on the edge. Don't know if this will help you, but it may help someone else.

And please, be careful of fellow dancers falsely claiming you do extras to get you out of your game. Certainly the posters here are not likely to do this, but another newbie told me of this tactic at her club.

Money up front and don't be overly friendly or too easygoing straight off the bat, be stern and professional when laying down the law and don't smile when you do it, that on it's own can be enough to deter guys who look for girls they think will be a pushover.

I go about it pretty much the way MadisonM does, warn them and follow up. Sometimes I'd get some idiot who wants to be smart and he's asked "what happens if I touch you" with a big smirk on his face, planning to go for the grab on his way out the door so rather than saying I'd have him chucked I told him, very matter of factly, he would be detained till the police arrived where they would then take him down the station and charge him with sexual assault and offences relating to prostitution on a licenced premises. They shut up and behaved after that. Some people you have to be tough with or they will walk all over you.
Another thing that worked for me in lap dancing clubs I tailored my routine to not be in a position where I was vunerable to being grabbed in the first place, some of the positions pinned the customer down so it was difficult for him make a move, on some bad weekend nights though I'd get fed up with the crap and if I got some sadistic type playing up I wouldn't even bother I'd just jump up with my shins on his thighs, a normal part of the show except I'd push the keys in his pocket into his groin to remind him who was running the show, in this position you can get a bit of force behind your hips too and knock the wind out of them with a few good pelvic thrusts, a heel stomping on a soft shoe or down the side of his ankle while stumbling around his legs works too, nasty but effective, not something I would exacty recomend especially if there are other options.

If its during a lap dance ( read this somewhere here) then I say something like "*giggle* let me drive." I say this as I grab their hands and lightly push them away. This usually works and they get the point w/o having to be mean.

Then there are the times that you are gonna have to be mean. You can straight up tell a guy if he is being too rowdy that "do it again and this dance is over". If they do it again then demand your money and stop the dance.

As long as you continue to let customers walk all over you, it will continue to take place. My club gives airdances only as well. I still get the occasional touchy/feely customer. I QUICKLY put them in their place. If they can't take no for an answer, then LEAVE!

Give them a warning and if they do it again call over a bouncer, that's what you pay them for! If the bouncers at your club don't protect you then go to another club, it's just not worth it in my opinion.
