Default Still Searching for a Good Sunscreen

I'm always looking for a sunscreen for face and body thats not oily (I have oily skin) and suitable for sensitive skin. I have tried so many. I tried Bare Minerals and it made my skin itch like mad. Avon was quite greasy, Olay was better but still a bit shiney looking. Any suggestions? Thanx ladies xx

I like Aveeno, & have heard good things about Neutrogena brand. I'm thinkin' you may have sensitive skin, so check out (try a tester?) ones for that. I also use Almay Kinetin on my face (treatment/w/spf). I don't think it's still avail., but they have a newer moisturizer for face w/spf for oily, combo skin.

I don't have sensitive skin but use coppertone sport sunscreen. it's not oily at all it is dry and is amazing how dry it is. I use it on my motorcyle rides and when golfing and never have a problem with my hands or face being oily. it comes in a blue bottle and is a bit pricey.

here's a link to coppertone sport products.

    or this might help.

    I hope this helps you.

I really like Kinsey's spray sunscreen. Smells great. Drys nicely and not too oily. The BEST. I've been using it for years!

The best at a good price for me? Ocean Potion for about $4 or $5 from WalMart. My faves:

Has chemical protection with Avobenzene aka "Parasol 1789" in it. Great protection against UVA rays which can wreak havoc with your skin. I'm 39 and I have NO wrinkles.

Also some European products are not available in the U.S. so I buy Roche Posay Anthelios off of EBay:

This one has physical protection from UVA and UVB rays via titanium oxide as well as chemical protection via avobenzone which protects against UVA rays.

I am LOVING Neutrogena's UltraSheer Dry-Touch 45spf. It's perfect for your face...doesn't clog pores, doesn't have they typical white or shiny residue, and has the same anti-oxidants and moisturizers as your face cream. I highly recommend it!

For my body, I use any sunscreen that has an aeorsol spray. I'm too lazy to put anything else on. However, I just bought a Neutrogena Summer Glow moisturizing lotion with sunless tanning lotion and a 20 spf. I like that it doesn't smell as bad as other self tanning lotions, but it also only gives a very slight tint.

The biggest concern is to ensure your sunscreen is a broad-spectrum, UVA/UVB sunscreen. Otherwise, you're only getting 1/2 the protection you need. Too many products out there say they contain sunscreen, but only contain UVB coverage. And I believe that UVA are the rays that produce those lovely aging effects...

Oh, i'm also fishing for one! I too have oily skin and will be venturing Miami next month, and the rays there are killer from what I hear.
