    This is so typicall!!

Ah, here´s a story for you ladies....

I met this guy couple of months ago and we had a really nice evening, he´s sort of a corporate shark, loaded and in good profession, good looking, too! So I figured straightaway there´s something wrong with this package. A total gentleman, bought me loads of stuff and kept offering vacations and to pay for the whole deal and so, and you know...

So okay, I was quite a storyteller myself I have to admit, not proudly though... He thoughs I live over 800 miles away from where we met and he´s a foreigner. So we separated he left his own home and I went my way. Though we kept in touch, phone calls, text messages etc multiple times in a day. He kep on pursuing me to travel where he lives, he sorts the flights etc.

So, again he comes to the city where we met ( I was working there at the time, though he doesnt know I´m a dancer ) and kept on phoning me to come over and see him over and over again..

Actually I live some 130 miles away from the city but I figured I was never going to see him again so sticked to my story while we stayed in touch. I thought hard and through whether I should go and see him, last time was quite nice, he´s a laugh and stays in really nice hotels. No sex was involved the last time.. Today I had a friend driving on that direction and he offered me a ride. I texted the guy I had eventually decided to travel and come to see him, was going to arrive at that and that time, lookign forward seeing you again, dear! But surely he thought my journey was going to take 3-4 times the actuall time and I sent the message so that had the distance he thought been real it´d been the time I took off.

5 hours passed and the guy txts me, oh honey, change of plans. unfortunately I have colleague to stay with me for two nights but we´re going for a dinner, wanna come?

    Hah hah, man I laughted!

Again a GOOD example how one should always belive the sixth sense with people! My friend who met him though he was such a darling and a real gentleman. It´s amazing how the dancing teaches you with peoples caracters..!

Sorta long story but I´m killing time waiting for my barbaque to heat up and some friends to arrive...

Yes yes yes. But you're signiture says it all.

Heh, I still think you should have gone to dinner with him.

    Here's my reasoning.
Financially, I can be quite the ass, but no matter what I always secure funding to make sure I can afford what I want. If this guy where me, and you where some hot little pop tart (sorry, had to) my head would be reading like this:

"Holy shit, she called my bluff, that rocks. Since she's serious I'll tell her the whole story, and if we have a great time at dinner and she's comfortable, we'll go hang out and if things get sexual I'll just check to see if there are open rooms and excuse myself."

My 2 cents, but perhaps he was using the dinner thing as a potential to make you feel comfortable and potentially gauge your passing interest.

Well Mast it shoulda been one hell of a catering to make it worth to actually take the trip, besides I´ve got one perfectly nice piece of pork right in front of me right now so I suppose he can throw that, eh bone, to some other dog

LOL, well I don't know the dynamics, but yea. It just appears he doesn't know how to be classy in a pinch. Thinking for others never helps. Note: I said if I where him... that's not how I would have handled the situation.

    I'm rather simple.

With me it would have been like this:
"Sorry OTHER DUDE, I'm going to go grab dinner with a CHICK. Enjoy the sausage fest"

    LOL.

Are you sure he wasn't just giving you warning that there would be other people over? That is how I read your rendering of what he said. He still asked if you were coming!

I think YOU are a relationship chicken!
