    Default Nail Tech.

Well, I'm really tryin' to find a new career here. I was considering going to Nail Tech school, it's a lil' expensive for me, & plus it'd be hard to get out of the house (I take care of my mom), but?
I come to find out this one school I was considering, is gone! I read an article in Jane magazine recently, about all these people who got ripped off from various types of career schools .
I see lots of job ads asking for N.T.s, but wonder if it's really worth investing in, like 1800.00 or so, plus supplies, I think.

All of the nail techs I've met wished they had spent their money elsewhere and feel trapped. They work long hours for a commission 40-50% in Austin, plus tips. I think office jobs expose you to less and pay similar. Couldn't a simple waitress earn the same $ also? If you are serious about school, I would suggest something with more growth opportunity even if it's just at the jr. college level.

In Cairo, nobody does artificial nails.

When my friend came to visit, with her long acrylic nails, she was asked about 20 times where she got them done.

If I stayed here I would open a nail salon. And become and Egyptian Millionaire!

The high-class ladies here would line up around the block to get them done. Also poorer girls would do it for their weddings...

Locations are super cheap... labor is super cheap, just gotta teach some local girls how to do it.

You only need 2 or 3 of the machines, you could bring them in your suitcases (and not pay the Capital Investment taxes).
