    Default E bay

    hi -

anyone use e bay? if i list something to sell, how much do i have to pay e bay? a wierd charge is coming up on my credit card. 1.00 from ebay and 1.00 from pay pal. Are these temp charges? So far I only put one item up for sale. Also, if someone buys something from me using pay pal- how do i get the money? do i get a check? or does it go back on my credit card? anyone have any bad experiences using e bay? thanks!

Never stand begging for that which you have the power to earn.

The truth lies in a man's dreams... perhaps in this unhappy world of ours whose madness is better than a foolish sanity.

You will have bad expierences if you don't know how to use the site. Visit this area to learn how the site works.

You need to know at least the basics about listing charges, paypal charges, feedback, shipping charges and how the different features of the site work. Many community colleges offer classes on how to use the site. I've been on Ebay since 1999 or so, and it has changed a lot sice then, but for the better.

Just remember to start slow. This is like learning an unfamiliar software system. If you just jump online w/o knowing how everything works, you are likely to get taken advantage of by the gobs of theives out there pretending to be eBay or Paypal (and they are very sneaky and convincing, lots of people get taken by phishing scams).

Good luck, and welcome to the world of online money making!
