One Model Place - Help please

Any OMP members on here? ( I know you're out there...)

I found a girl on OneModelPlace, and I want to hire her to do some work for me.

But I don't want to sign up to the onemodelplace.com site.

I just need the email address.

Can someone get me the email address for the girl if I give you the ID #??

If you can help please reply or message me.

When you first contact someone on OMP, it goes through OMP to that person. OMP doesn't allow you to get the e-mail address directly off the profile. OMP wants to be the conduit for the first contact.

    Darn, I didn't know that.

So OMP moderates the messages? Is there any way around this to get in touch with a model, or do I have to pay the fees?

Do you know what kind of charges I will have to pay to sign up as a Designer? (for finding fashion models)

I think OMP's moderation is in large part automatic - they don't let e-mail addresses or alternative Web sites get mentioned in messages through OMP. I've seen models get around it on their profiles by saying "come see me at janesmith dot com" but I don't know a way for the browsing person to get through it.

I think their entry-level membership for photographers is $10/year. I don't know the pricing structure for any other category. It's pretty easy to find out, though, if you go to their home site.

I got an idea..why don't you set up your profile as if you are a model. I am a model and I pay nothing on OMP. My profile is free bc I have only 5 images on my profile. I still get referrals from photographers wanting to work with me!

Try that...set up the account as if you are a model then email her and tell her the read deal

OK, this is really f*cked up!!!

I broke down and got a membership (for $9 on my visa), it was supposed to be a clothing designer profile, but they have me down as a model!

And I am blocked until I upload photos of myself.

And I used my real first and last name.

And I indicated I was interested in shooting lingerie. So I have that as one of my prefs.

I don't understand how to use the site, I find it very confusing, I can't see any buttons to edit the profile.

    DAMN!

    Enter this:

    Enter your name and password.

The OMP Newsletters tab at the top will change to "manage my profile." Click that.

There will be a row of tabs that show up just above the "current main image" block that says "General, Update Profile," etc. Click the "Update Profile."

To add images, look at the big X where the main image should be when you're in the General tab. Under that image box is a link called "Images." Click that.

    Good luck.

Someone on OMP might be reluctant to work with someone who didn't have an OMP site themselves. But that's just how I work.

I agree... I'm a member of quite a few online profile sites and when a photographer/designer/artist contacts me and I notice that they don't have any examples of thier work online or many details I get quite suspicious and am reluctant to write back.

As one of the other girls said, maybe you should sign up as a model? Or maybe check out a few other sites like www.modelmayhem.com or www.net-model.com?
