BV IS considered an STD because sex can be a cause...but it can ALSO be caused by lots of things
other than sex. Don't go yelling at your man friend just yet. Hey might not have anythng to do with it.
The CDC lists BV as the first topic in it's STD section here:
http://www.cdc.gov/std/bv/default.htm
It's simple to take care of. I'm not sure I'd work with it. Trust me, customers can smell (some are pussy scent conniseurs) and you don't want the rumour mill started on you about how your pussy stinks. Really. I worked with a girl once who had some sort of infection and believe me, more people could smell it than you'd think, and they ALL (customers and employees) told EVERYONE who would listen, including the girls, customers, managers, floormen, waitresses etc etc etc. I think that was some of the harshest gossip I ever heard about anyone, and from so many people. If she knew how much was said, she'd have probably quit and hid in a cave.
Your problem could be a number of things, not just BV.
When you go to the doctor, have them run a screen for everything, or at the very least, include Chlamydia, which has symptoms like you describe.
I don't mean to make you worry, I only want you to have information to look out for yourself. Chlamydia can cause serious problems.
Take a few days off for yourself. If you can't, take good care of yourself and help the customers to focus on your other assets.
