Anything special?

Anything special?
Getting this demon child out of me!
(Heh.. I keed.. kinda..)
I'm not looking forward to the extreme heat. If I wasn't pregnant, it wouldn't be a problem.
Otherwise, Summer is one of my favorite times of the year. I look forward to cooking on the grill, sitting out in the backyard at night, getting splashed by Delia when she's in the pool, and the Ice Cream Man!!!

The end of construction on my new house so I can stop living in this stuffy corporate studio apartment.

LOL Heartburn.. Yep, got plenty of that. Ugh.
We've named the demon, Hunter Ryan. It's something we'd decided on when we were pregnant with Delia, if she had a penis.

Oh that's right, now I remember you posted that a while back. I like that, very masculine. Ryan sounds like your name too.Originally Posted by Rhiannon

Sounds Kewl Vy! I will be celebrating my bday with my hubby too, our bday's are in the same week. I also look forward to strolls in Central Park and the Horse and Carriage rides... I had my wedding at Central Park last summer. Btw where are you located NJ or NJ?
Gosh im so jealous of your trip to Miami!!! Miami is definitely the place to go for fun with the girls.

Don't worry, we're due in the winter. The worst part of the pregnancy (body heat wise) is in the last trimester. The second trimester isn't that bad. The last trimester, you'll probably have the heat turned down to 58 to feel "comfortably warm". I remember when I had Makayla (3 weeks late...due August 16, born September 6) my last trimester went through the hottest part of summer. My air was on 24/7...I was always soooo hot. Remember that part in Father of the Bride II where the 2 preggo women were complaining it was hot and everyone else was wearing parkas?? That's going to be Rhi in a couple of months. Well, hell that'll be us in the winter, but at least then, all we need to do is go sit on the porch (or move the bed out there, LOL).Originally Posted by seraya
So, you picked a good season to have your child. LOL

I always said I wanted to have my kid(s) in fall/winter season. I remember my neighbor dying of heat at eight months in the summer. Man, she was grouchy. lol.
VG, I love your little time siggy thing.
Couple of months? Hell, that's me now! LOL
And to add insult to injury.. Our central AC is crapping out! It'll be nice and cool (almost TOO cold) in here in the morning, and the night. BUT, when we need it most, in the afternoons, it overheats and shorts out! Arg! I've had the maintenance people here twice this week, and right now they're in the backyard again working on it. They had to SHUT IT COMPLETELY OFF to work on it, and it is currently a nauseating 94 degrees in here. Yes, 94. In my House!
They'd just better fucking replace it. I'm tired of this shit. And we haven't even seen "HOT" yet here. 80-90 degrees is NOTHING.
Sorry to jack the thread, I just really really had to vent. I'm light-headed and overheated.
This is a dorky way to cool off, but you can put wet cloths on your neck & head. If you want to be funny, use a checked cloth & pretend you're with Hamas. (My brother used to to do that in the 80s, it was so fricking weird to see him sporting a keffiyeh.)
I look forward to summer being the profitable season for strippers. (Parties.)

I'm looking forward to the tourists and their money!

Marasmus ... "Ladies don't fart. They butt-laugh."
Marasmus says, "Oh no, that wasn't gas, it was merely a rectal chuckle."
Marek says, "A friend of mine got punched in the face by a dominatrix stripper about two weeks ago and I thought of you."
I've been sticking my head in the freezer periodically throughout the day, and hosing Delia down in the bathroom sink. They just NOW left. They were like "It seems to be blowing at 60 degrees now". No shit, dumbasses. The SUN has gone DOWN. Meaning, no more overheating the outside unit. So they told us to call the office if we have any more problems. I GUARANTEE I'll be calling them tomorrow afternoon when the fucking thing shorts out again. I'll also be demanding that they replace the unit. I cannot deal with this anymore, and I won't have Delia overheating again either.
my 21st birthday celebration in vegas, and tool's concert tour coming back to the states.
I'm looking forward to making some $$$$
Lot's of this!!!!!!!!!
Well maybe not so much of the getting stuck, but you get the point.
“Since the ACLU is trying to take away the word ‘Christmas,’ we thought it would be a great time to send the group a Christmas card this year. If everybody did this, they would be buried in mail.”

The beach...drinking on the beach and browning myself.
More partying in LA
Not eating as much b/c the summer makes me alot less hungry; all that heat

I'm looking forward to many days of kayaking, hopefully being able to step up to class 4 rapids, gigging with my new band, making a bundle from selling my house....

Rockfest! www.rock-fest.com
It's a 4 day concert in Bumfuck, WI where everyone gets drunk and listens to great music. I went with a couple of friends of mine last year and we camped out, but it was way too fucking hot! It was around 95 degrees on the coldest day. This year we're getting a hotel room.
Also, my sister's wedding in June-that'll be a good time. Other than that, not much, just working a lot. Next year I'm going to work a lot during the winter and spring so that I can enjoy more of my summer and take more time off.
