    Default Theoretical Situation

You have been dancing for a while when something BAD happens (car dies, family sick etc) and you need a lot of money quickly.
    So what do you do?
If you choose other, please comment and explain what you would do.

-Also Im not in this situation, just curious as to what others would do-

I would personally just take on extra shifts, and if that didnt cut it, Id escort.

But under NO CIRCUMSTANCES would I put the other girls at risk by doing extras in my club.

(Ironically enough, even grinding the custie is extras in this state, and I wouldnt want to do that, but I think I could handle screwing for cash, at least you'd be earning what its worth, rather than a $20 bj in extras!)

I need a lot of money quickly right now, and I'd do just about anything for it. But prostitution and extras are completely out of the question for me. I'm just working as many shifts as possible during an outrageously slow week and praying hard that business picks up in time.

When I've been in that situation before, I just worked 10 hour days 6 days a week, and if that wasn't enough, I would sell my belongings to raise extra money.

I have done extras when in a tight spot, but it was the norm for the club I was working at. I certainly wasn't alone in that situation. It was the one and only time I got myself trapped in a situation where the booking agent lied to me about the club, and I made the trip to the club w/o an escape plan. I worked 4 shifts, paid back the plane ticket the club fronted me, and bought a return flight ticket. Before the week was over I was outta there. I covered another dancers flight home, as well. Her skin was not as thick as mine, and should couldn't bring herself to do the extras that all the customers demanded.

I have been there, not while dancing though. I would pick up extra shifts now. Then, I got 2 extra jobs and worked 80+ hour weeks.

I couldn't handle the extras at the club, I may be able to handle escorting, but that's doubtful for me as well.

I always keep money saved. I am saving for a house eventually, but at a ny given time in my life, even when not dancing I've always had at least 3-4 thousand in the bank and now it's a lot more than that. So I have money to fall back on if I need to. But I'm also lucky in that if somehow I spent EVERYTHING I still have my boyfriend and parents that would help me out or try to lend me money until I could catch up with extra shifts.

I think it's important to have a few months living expenses stashed away in a savings account for emergencies. For example, what if you broke your leg and couldn't work? However, if I needed money in a pinch I would take out a personal loan and then work extra shifts to pay it back.

I'd escort. It's legal and I don't see it as a big deal.

It depends on the situation. About a year ago, my husband was way behind on his continuing education stuff for work, so I picked up some shifts with another agency and worked extra shifts at my regular bar as well. In the past, I have also done some videos to make ends meet in a tight spot. Those were all well and good for a short-term solution.

There have been times in the past when I wondered how I would make ends meet if I lost my husband. Then obviously it would be a different, long-term situation. In that case, I would definitely turn to escorting, at least until I could find something else useful to do. I would rather do that than "economise" by selling the house, putting my kid in public school. etc. I don't think I would actually like doing it, but it is the only choice that would allow me to keep up our curent lifestyle for my son

I'd take on extra shifts. If that didn't cut it, I'd go into my savings. If I didn't have savings, I'd get a loan. If I couldn't get a loan I'd sell some of my stuff. If I didn't have stuff to sell...I'd borrow money from a friend or family member.
