Default Getting Rid of Bikini Line Hair

I'm having trouble getting rid of my hair down there. Shaving leaves bumps and I always miss a few hairs - which would be really embrassing as my club isn't that dark in the VIP. Creams take ages and leave skin sore, and waxing is way tooo painful. Does anyone have any good creams or lasers to recommend?

    laser is great...but you can't tan between sessions...so it's a pain!

Ok I'm going to get told I'm crazy for telling you this...or I'm crazy for doing it...but here goes...

I PLUCK...yup pluck! It does NOT hurt honest! I pluck the front and it stays smooth for about 3 weeks...some spots don't even grow back and the hair gets finer and finer....so for me it's great!

and ir doesn't cause ingrowns...which is great! You jusy need to pluck the hair close to the skin and that's why it's great to pluck as soon as you see the hair just above the skin.

It doens't take long to do maybe 15 minutes (depends how much hair you have or want to leave)

As for between the legs...I use nair...they foam kind. It stays put and won't run into spots you don't want it to *wink*

And I have super sensitive skin and find it doesn't burn etc....just make sure you don't leave it on longer then recommended.

Nair is a good cream for sensitive skin. Immac is good also, although I hear people have better reactions to Nair than Immac. I do not use Nair for overall hair removal, but for the more "private" areas that normally only dancers and porn stars have to take care of

If you want to try shaving your bikini line again, you should gently exfoliate the skin there first. I would use a good lotion after shaving, such as Tendskin. I have black skin, and it's renown for having bad reactions to shaving, and this stuff worked wonders. I even have my family and my man using it.

It really doesn't hurt...and I find the eyebrow area more sensitive. You can also try using an over the counter numbing cream or even oral gel for teething. It lasts so long and you can't even tell you have growing in that spot (unlike shaving etc). It really doesn't hurt..it's just a feeling you have to adjust to and get used to.

laylalipps just take your time the first time...and if you feel it's too sensitive don't give up so quickly...go but some numbing gel and try it again. The results are awesome and you will see the hair grow back much finer each time...and some spots will stop growing.

    Good luck!

Here's my secret to shaving down there...

    Exfoliate.
Apply baby oil to area to be shaved. Wait a minute for the oil to soften hairs.
Apply conditioner or shave gel to shaving area.
    Shave.
    Rinse thoroughly.
After getting out of the shower, dry area.
Apply lotion to freshly-shaved area. Wait a minute for lotion to sink in.
Apply deodorant (I use Dove for sensitive skin) to freshly-shaved area.

No bumps, no redness, no worries!

As far as plucking goes, I've found the eyebrow area to be far far more sensitive than my pubes. It definitely stung, but not like doing my eyebrows (I just sort of went "ow." instead of going into eye-watering pain). Unfortunately, my pubes can be kind of brittle, so I don't always manage to pull the hair out by the root the first time. When that happens, there's a decent chance that they'll come back ingrown, so I try to make sure and scrub with my bath poof all over when I shower and put some witch hazel where I plucked (witch hazel's also a great preventative for the dreaded stripper-butt, so I knock out two birds with one stone).

Alternatively, make friends with an aesthetician or stylist who does waxing, pay for a brazillian wax and ask her to let you get drunk before she does it. I've never done a full brazillian myself, just the bikini line, but apparently the brazillian hurts like a mofo the first few times, then stops hurting as bad. The bikini line certainly made my eyes water the first couple times, but it's really not that bad now.

Personally, I prefer sucking it up and dealing with the short sharp shock of a professional waxing to dealing with ingrown hairs and razor burn on a regular basis. If I weren't so lazy, I would try Yekhefah's method.
