    Default non slip shoe pads

I know when I was looking online at dancing shoes, I seen on one site some non slip pads to go in the toe area of the shoe to keep you from sliding forward. Does anyone have these? Can you tell me where you found them? When my feet get hot, they start sliding forward off the front of the shoe.

Pretty much any cloth shoe pads will work- you can buy them at walmart. The ones I use just go in the toe area, and they are mostly blue, with white around the outside. If I had the package I'd tell you what they're called. They cost around $4 and they work great. Don't get any that are gel- make sure they are cloth.

foot petals is a brand that is awesome,,, heres the link http://www.footpetals.com/cgi-bin/footpetals/index.html

they sell sticky pads for the balls of your feet so they dont slip and add a bit of cushioning they are called tiptoes,, they also make these things called heavenly heels where its a longer pad that goes in the heel of a shoe to also add cushion and make it soft so you dont get blisters and also prevents your heel from sliping out of the shoe,, and there are strappy strips those are the same material and they are skinny strips to put under the straps on sandals... they also work quite well,, they are usually aroung 8 bucks i think they have other products on the wbsite too,,, but these ones are the ones i am familiar with.. if you live in canada you can get them at le chateau, but i dont know where else they are sold.

I've tried 2 different brands of gel inserts for the ball of your foot, and one brand my foot actually stuck to and was really uncomfortable- my foot wouldn't move at all on it's own in my shoe, and the gel insert actually would try to come out of the shoe when I took my shoes off. The other brand got really slippery when I started to sweat, and my feet actually slid around more than they did without them. Maybe others have had better luck with gel, but I always get cloth ones now. I never have problems with those. I don't stick to them, and I don't slide around at all.

Thanks everyone. I am now on a mission to find the greatest shoe pad ever! The cloth ones sound better and I'm going to check the website as well as look at walmart. duh, I should have checked walmart out first.

I don't wear no slip grips personally. I don't like them. Makes me feel more slippery!
