    Default creeps

I am trying to get into dancing so i call a local club to ask pretty basic things like are you hiring, do i need a licence, do you have an amatour night.

so this guy answers i ask all of the above- he answers them. Then he asks how my ass is- i answer " i have a big ass." he screams " i've gotta girl on the phone with a big ass!" i do a little gigle like im amused with this guy

he asks "and your tits? they nice?"- i answer " of course nice and perky"
again he screams " a big as and nice titys!"

he tells me to come by tues night at 7pm dosn't say if it's ametour night or just an interview. i felt kinda dumb to ask and i basically just wanted to get off the phone.

is the the typical way staff talks to you? like a peice of meat?
Maybe im just naive, because i generally do not speak that way (only to my boyfriend). i mean i have tough skin i can handle it if it is. i just need to know if it is right.

Um...no, that isn't normal. At least not in any of the clubs I've worked in. I'd advise going to check it out, but be prepared for a less-than-professional atmosphere. Personally, I would never work with a manager who talked to me like that, especially on the phone for the first time. Just bad vibes.

Remember this may not be your manager. It may be a bartender who's been getting a little too rowdy, or a retarded DJ, or something. If the rest of the club seems okay, stick with it.

And yes, be prepared to feel like a peice of meat. The customers are there for a fantasy and it starts with your body. People will very bluntly and sometimes rudely discuss your body. It can range from a compliment to a suggestion to get the cellulite off your butt. Gotta get used to it.

Good luck on your first night. Do well!

personally i think he was probably just fucking with you because the fact that you called a strip club and asked if they are hiring lol next time i would just research the club and show up when ever you want to. lol strip club are almost always hiring of cource and if your just starting out dancing i dont think that an amature night is the best idea for you because there will probably be more of a croud and the total focus will be all on you. so i would just stop by on a mellow night like maybe a sunday and try it out.

Unfortunately guys do fantasise about dancers. And some of the guys who fantasise never learn to distinguish fantasy from reality.

In his fantasy you like telling him you've got "perky tits", so that's why you got asked the questions you did. He was getting a bit of a kick out of talking to you like that.

He'd probably have trouble understanding that in the real world you think he's a retarded idiot. Unfortunately, there's more than a few like-minded morons on the strip scene.

You'll have to get used to dealing with guys like this - they're an occupational hazard.

It was prob. some idiot door guy. Sexual harassment laws still apply w/ employees at clubs. Our mang. staff has a meeting 1 or 2 times a year about sexual haras. Always ask for mang. when calling a club.

I agree- always ask for the manager. The manager at my club is also the bartender, and she leaves at 9. Sometimes girls will call about working there after 9, and the bartender then answers. She always tells the girls to call back the next day when the manager is working. You probably talked to a bartender or someone else who worked there, and not the manager. If it was actually the manager you talked to, I wouldn't work there- sounds really unprofessional.
Take the road less traveled- just make sure you have a map.
