    Default New Zealand and White House, Auckland

    I was thinking of working the White House in Auckland, New Zealand while I wait for my approved Visa to get back to Australia. Maybe stay and work a week. I hear money is good in NZ right now, going at around $500NZD a night (is it NZD?)... which is, about, what, $450AUD or $380USD?

    Anyway... how are the laws/rules in NZ?

    Any licenses? Fees? Advice?

    dont know alot about the white house currently.

    money is generally pretty good there, winter there i was still making $300-$500 a night, and up to $800 weekend. so its possible its still pretty decent.

    i dont know how the system is there, they either take a set fee, percentage or a fee off each dance.

    their stage is weird tho....

    mermaids is always worth a consider too....not so many high rollers, but do it the ford way- mass market, and you can bank.

    Yek,

    I'm not entirely sure I can afford the ticket to LA. It's $1500 currently and I still don't have the money. The ticket to NZ is $400 and I DO have that money.

    Either I go to NZ and come back... or I go to NZ and they don't let me back so I work in NZ to pay for US and go there and come back. o.O;

    It's winter now so I suppose I can go and make decent money. I only need to work TO SAY I'm working so the 'feds' don't know I'm just going there to renew my Australian visa. So I am there for a 'working holiday' it won't look bad and they'll let me come back to Australia (stupid Visa agreements). So if I can come back with ANY money, all will be well.

    ^ You'll make that money at the WH easily- just be warned that the guys are really grabby (don't know what you're used to). I didn't have the best time there (don't mention me to them, haha), but I think it's an excellent club if you can handle it. Long shifts though, and they make you buy and wear the lamest outfit (which you'll hate, since you're not into being an American).

    Considering that the South East Queensland (Brisbane/Gold Coast) rules in the strip clubs allow for two way touching (customer to dancer and vice versa) everwhere pretty much except the inner thigh, groin, anus and pubic regions..... it's a since to work anywhere else. Next time Morr. do some seasonal work like that is advertised at the various backpacker hostels all over the place... you may have to look at trying to get some 'legit' work so you can gain a work visa or something.

    I will next time. And remember, I'm from America - where GRINDING TO COMPLETION was the norm (ugh, not like I ever did it. Light grinding usually... still more than normal!)... so working for grabby customers in NZ should be a cinch, like GCG said.

    New Zealand, let's test ya out!

    Whitehouse does make you wear a hideous two piece stars and stripes outfit but if you didn't like it there are two other clubs to try out in auckland - Mermaids (as mermaidnz said) and Showgirls. Money over the last couple of months has slowed down (but it's winter so you would expect that) Still lots of potential to make good $$ though - especially if you're a friendly foreigner!
