    Default New Orleans

I will be visiting New Orleans this week. Any SC recommendations? I posted on the Blue Side but only received 2 suggestions, Visions and Ricks.

If you would be so kind would you let me know if its worth going to NOLA to work anymore? I would go for Ricks it's quite classy
also check out the Hustler club. I haven't been in touch with many of my friends since Katrina but I would love to go "home" just
for a week if it is worth it

I worked Rick's in December and did fine. I just didn't like the milage I was going to have to do to keep a guy coming back. But I did have fun in general.
The Hustler Club is cool, but if you work there you will be able to tell really quick which girls run that club, and they expect you to stay out of their way. The girl dating the manager can make work miserable if she wants to. But try them out and see where you like best.
Oh crap, and I forgot to say, since the Hustler Club is part of the Deja Vu chain, the B.S. that goes along with working for a Deja Vu club happens there too. Don't get bullied, just try to be the middle of the road girl.
    Good luck!!

Ugh. I know that bitch who dates the manager. Had the distinct displeasure of working with her at Hustler Baltimore. Best to stay away from her. I'd advise staying away from Hustler period. Too much bullshit.

Rick's is good - I worked there for years and put out no more mileage there than I did anywhere else (less in some cases). Like any other place, you don't have to give the mileage to make the money if you know what you're doing

Gold Club around the corner on Iberville might be worth a shot, moneywise, and low-bullshit-wise.

If you're averse to contact, stay away from Visions. It's not too bad and the guys can be controlled, but they sure do like their grab-ass there. Easy hustle though (they love to test out new girls), if you can set boundaries and deal with some grab-ass.

I don't think I'd recommend any other NOLA clubs for working.

For customers, you could try Visions for higher contact, Rick's or Gold Club for a YMMV with some prettier girls experience, Temptations for a anything-goes-with-the-right-girl-in-the-rooms-out-back, and too much loud techno experience. Most other clubs will be full of some pretty nasty-looking chics, and I wouldn't recommend.

Sorry if I should start a new thread on this, but has NOLA reestablished itself yet? I heard that it used to be a wonderful place to work. I was wondering if the city has recovered yet. So sad.

The Gold Club is now The Penthouse Executive Club. No worries, Deja Vu didn't buy that, too.
Same owners, same staff (well except certain managers with amphetemine problems....) They just bought the franchise name and remodeled. Did a great job, too, place looks gorgeous. Still low-bullshit.
I worked Jazzfest, had a great time, and did well. Don't expect too much right now though, it IS summertime in the Big Easy....
Oh yeah, if you need a place to stay, they now have a B&B where they let the girls stay for (I think) 80 bucks a night.
I propose a toast - to my self control.... I see you crawling, helpless, on the floor.......

This is hearsay, but I was talking last night with a girl who just got back from a month in New Orleans. She said things had slowed down for the summer, but that when she got there she was making $500-1000 a night at the Hustler Club. Who knows what this is worth, but I thought I'd pass it on.

Barely Legal=still owned by Deja Vu. I won't even go down that road again. The friend I went down there with in December has been down there and she said it is getting slower the hotter it gets. But you never know, it could be worth it.
And Bridgett I laughed out loud when I read about the manager's girlfriend. I wanted to grab her by the hair if for no other reason than the fact that she got such pleasure out of making people miserable!

I haven't talked to anyone at the ho-bar (giggle) in almost 2 years. I don't know what happend to anyone, if your best friend was a
waitress and asian I would love to know how her and her little girl/boyfriend are doing.
Shawn took over management in the daytime at the ho-bar and tried really hard and managed to clean things up,
My husband worked as security/door guy for show bar over Mardi-Gras.
The cool thing about Show bar I believe it was the first topless bar in the quarter I am not sure if that is true or
just what they liked to say about it. I learned how to dance in 8" heels there in the daytime since The Crazy Horse
which was also owned at the time by gold club required all entertainers to wear 8" heels.

Business in NOLA ALWAYS slows waaaaaay down in summer. JazzFest is traditionally the last money-making time of the year until October or so.

Since I started this thread asking for suggestions on NO SCs I thought I would post where I went.

Club Eden. It's a small club near the airport. First time I paid $30 for a PD and the dancers didn't remove their clothes during the PD. But the ladies were fun and I still had fun.

LOL. That's where I worked when I wanted to escape the Bourbon St madness. But back then it was called Centerfolds and had different owners. I'm sure it was nice, but for $30 you could've gotten alot more bang for your buck in the Quarter - $20 dances and the girls DO strip down to thongs. Also, generally more contact. That club is located in Jefferson Parish with much stricter laws than Orleans....

But then, you'd have had to fight the Quarter crowds, find parking, etc.

I spoke with the manager and/or owner of Club Eden and he said the same thing about Jefferson Parish. He used to work in the French Quarter but he said he got tired of all of the trouble he ran into.

This was the smallest SC I have been to. I didn't think I would like it when I first walked in but I had a good time. I think the smallness of the club added to the "party" atmosphere.

I did notice that most of the dancers were making $15 to $20 per stage set plus getting PDs. They were busy on a Thursday night.

Do they still do the dances on a platform in front of you?
I made decent money there at the time. It was more of a locals place, with a few travellers staying at the airport and not wanting to fight the bourbon st crowds, but it got busy.

They have 2 little "rooms" with a curtain that is next to the stage that is used for PDs. I saw the room that had platforms but they weren't being used.

The PDs were standard contact with some medium grinding, they just couldn't take their clothes off. No touching by the customer.

i know deja vu has a tonnnnn of bullshit, but a friend of mine who works at hustler baltimore goes down a few times a year to work at barely legal and whatever club sisco is managing, if anyone knows which? im not sure. i was supposed to go with her to work at barely legal, i know one of the managers and absolutely love him, even though he might not be the best manager haha.. but she told me she pulls in almost a grand a night every time she goes down. shes actually leaving tomorrow and i had all my plans set to go but my teachers ruined all that by changing around the dates of two tests i was supposed to have the week AFTER i got back and making them this week. boo.

So I visited NO last weekend of august. Stopped in both penthouse and rick's. More people at Rick's, but seemed like a much better crowd at penthouse. I talked to the managers at both seeing about traveling down. Looks like the girls I talked to all liked working at Ricks.

^^Rick's is arguably the best money club in Nola. It was my favorite for years. I tried out Gold Club (what Penthouse used to be) and there was just something I didn't like about the place - felt greasy....as if everything in Nola isn't greasy LOL. But seriously - I just didn't like Gold Club and never did as well there as I did at Rick's.

Oh - don't bother with Temptations. And Hustler, Barely Legal, et all will take huuuuuuge cuts of your money.
