Hello ladies! Yesterday I attended the Dancer Wealth seminar, and today I am already halfway through the second CD in the 8-disc review that came with the seminar!!! I can't wait to go to work and make tons of money, but I have to wait because I'm superstitious and tomorrow is 6/6/06.
I don't want to be at the club tonight when the clock strikes 12, and I don't want to go in tomorrow night, especially in Vegas because I'm afraid the weirdos will be out!!! Once another dancer told me about a customer who had slipped ruffies into her glass while it was sitting on the table in front of her! (He leaned over like he was reaching for something, and drugged her drink while it was right under her nose!!!) She got up to go to the bathroom, and she was so weak, she could barely hold herself up with her arms, and her boyfriend had to come pick her up. Scary!! Thank goodness she was in a public place, and she was ok after a couple days, but this is the moral of the story. She said she had a bad feeling about him. "Looking into his face was like looking at the devil," were her exact words. I'm telling you, my friends, TRUST YOUR FIRST INSTINCT.
I know this because the most valuable book I ever read was "The Gift of Fear" by Gavin DeBecker who is an expert on predicting violent behavior. If anybody starts a book club, this is the first book you should read. He says, "the threat of violence surrounds us every day, but we can protect ourselves by learning to trust- and act on- our gut instincts. If my friend had gotten away from that guy the instant she got a bad vibe from him instead of hanging around hoping there was a potential to make money, it would have been a very different night for her. Anyway ladies, whatever you do, be careful tomorrow because a lot of people with ill intentions might be celebrating...
Ok, BACK TO THE SEMINAR!!!!!! I learned SO MANY useful techniques, and re-learned some things that have worked for me before, but I had forgotten about! Time will tell, but I already know that some of the sales techniques that Adam described WORK because I SEE the highest earning dancers use them and make ridiculous money. Some of the "lines" seem kind of cheesy, so I hesitate to say them, but I watch the highest earners in my club use them, and it's like clockwork... the trick is to say something like, "When we go to the VIP room..." with a straight face. Like it's a no-brainer. Not like you're hopeful, like you EXPECT it. If you ask them, or even TELL them with confidence, the customers trust you, and they will buy... a dance, or a VIP, or any other product you sell!!! There is so much more, but the handbook is over sixty pages, and it would take me 16 hours to tell you about everything we talked about in the 8 hour seminar!
I know when I go back to work I will make more money. It's only a question of HOW MUCH more money... I am re-reading the handbook (with the margins of the pages COVERED in notes) and listening to the CD's, so ask me six months from now if it was worth it... I already know that this stuff is great advice, it's only a matter of APPLYING it!!! I already want to know when the next seminar is because I can't wait to re-attend to keep me motivated!!!!
