Well, you might not want to, as my trip is not organized. My friend is down there trying out clubs right now, and I'm going to literally buy a ticket a day or two before I go, once we decide where's best to work (based on her assessment).

But if you'd like to, I'm sure a third to split the hotel room would be welcome-

    My approximate dates are 19th-31st.

I couldn't resist the siren's call of a quick glance at Scarlett's photos, and now feel compelled to request that she keep the local population apprised of her club selection, whensoever it might be made.

    Some clubs you should consider:

Shotgun Willes- I've worked here for nearly three years and love it. Highest traffic in Denver, 6 stages, blue collar feel with a white collar crowd. Nice variety of girls, 85% drama free.

Penthouse- Georgeous VIP, nude dances availible, part of PT's corporation.

PT's Showclub- Probaly the second busiest club, nude dances availible, blue collar clientele

La Boheme- BEAUTIFUL club, three stages, trendy VIP, located Downtown next door to convention center. Someone told me they have a tanning bed for the girls there, too. The only other upscle club not owned by PT's. The only other club I'd consider working at. Say hi to Matt for me. The only downside I've heard so far is thier day shift is super slow and no one can pronounce the name of the club correctly.

Diamond Caberet- used to be the gentlemens club, but haven't heard too much about it since La Boheme opened and PT's bought it. May still be a gown club.

Customer view: I agree with Mia, except that I haven't been to Boheme or Diamond. The downtown clubs were supposed to be more white collar oriented, although like Mia, I haven't heard what's going on with Diamond since the buyout.

Club shock is definately a possibility! The Gun isn't as pretty a club and there's no VIP. $30 nude dances aren't availible either. However, traffic is consistant, there's no housefee or penalties, and it's a laid back atmosphere. Yes, there seems to be more of a focus on stage than Penthouse but you make most of your $$$ from private dances and getiing bought off the list.

The owner does a lot of maral boosting, "we appreciate our employees" stuff. She hosted a picnic at Cherry Creek resovoir last week, had a "day for the ladies" (we got together before the club opened and were treated to catered brunch, mimosas, chair massages, makeup artists, hair stylists, and games), and they usually host a friends and family day at Six Flags or Waterworld every summer and pay for everyones admission into the park. Then there's the employee xmas party where Mia gets shitfaced and finds her panties and shoes in her kitchen the next morning...

Is the grass greener? It depends on what you like and who you ask. I think every club has its positives and negatives. There's definately a club out there for every entertainer, but none is absolutly perfect.

So, Mia, the whole W-2 thing...does that mean they want a SSN number at Shotguns?

La Boheme sounds nice, but there's nothing online about it.

Aww, nostalgia! I grew up in Colorado, and Shotgun Willie's was always the legendary club I heard whispers about. I only got to experience it in person a few years ago and MAN, it did not disappoint! One of my all-time favorite clubs so far! (My other fave so far is Mardi Gras in Springfield, Mass.)

I hope you like it, Scarlett & Cally! And glad you enjoy it from the inside view, Mia. Just out of curiosity - on the polar opposite end in quality and class - do y'all know if *snicker* Dandy Dan's is still around? That was another one I heard whispers about, but all the wrong kinds . . . I used to have to ride the Federal bus right past it & always wondered. (I'm guessing that if it is around, you just might want to steer clear, travelers!)

Ahhh, Dandy's... Yes, it's still open and running. That was the first club I ever worked at, I spent three months there before I went to the Gun. The worst part was having to wait tables between sets!

I remember when I was hired at Shotguns, Matt (the manager at the time) made a face like I took a dump on his shoes when I told him I came from Dandy's. "oh no," he said "you belong here!"

A girl's gotta start somewhere, right?

Waiting tables between sets! You're kidding! What a total drag. Well, we all have to start somewhere . . .

Whats Denver like in August?? Looks like I might just be around

And again - they are ok with foreign girls working? (aka no visa ...) SGW's as well as the PT clubs?

the extra girls are starting to take over the day shifts but managements dealing with them fairly well. they have to see it to get the girl in trouble. but i've seen plenty of girls get fired for extras. my money hasn't really been affected other than once or twice and those were individual situations where i lost a dance to one.
my favorite story: reg was waiting for me and she went up and asked if he would like a dance and he said he was waiting for me and she said 'oh well wait til shes on stage and you can sneak up ill give you 3 for the price of 2 and i'm sure i'm a lot dirtier than her' lo and behold i was right behind her.

I've noticed that no one ever mentions the Oasis Cabaret in these Denver threads. I went last night and it is one of the nicer-looking spaces among the Denver SCs. (Sort of stuck in Miami Vice time-vortex but still well-kept.) Reasonably busy for a Tues night too. Majority of the dancers maybe weren't quite as attractive as those you see at the PT clubs and Shotgun.

I know Oasis is popular among athletes. Carmelo rented it out for the entirety of the NBA All-Star weekend last year.

    FWIW.

dayzed, I agree that it's a nice-looking club, and I've tried to like it, but I just don't see girls making much money there. I do agree that, although there's very pretty girls there, the overall level is below that of the other popular clubs.

However, if nice surroundings and low contact and stages are your thing, you should check it out.

The nice thing about Denver is that all the clubs I seen are minimum $20 per dance with low/no contact...even sitting on a customer's lap was bad. Except there was a PT's that looked a bit trashy I recall, (I didn't stay) but it was busy. The Diamond Caberet has a nice restaurant and wine selection unless they changed.

I heard people say extras girls were at the penthouse too, but I visited and didn't see anything. What would an extras in Denver be? Grinding fully clothed???

I don't look for the actual sex experience, but short of that, some of the moves offered in a Denver place or two have equalled what was offered to me in a Vegas place or two.

So, uh...you have to wear two thongs in Denver?

What's that about? In case one 'slips'?
