    Default dear customers

i know it must suck to enter a club and find out that there are only a couple/few girls working. if you make the choice to leave, i don't blame you. HOWEVER, if you make the choice to stay.....

please do not ask the girl(s) who are there "why" the club doesn't have more girls, "where" the other girls are. in general, don't sit there and whine about it, and don't ask us to tell you about the clubs politics. we can't talk about it anyway, so it puts us in an odd position. also, we probably don't -want- to talk about it. having too few girls is a problem that sucks for the dancers as well as the customers. we're well aware of the problem, and it isn't our fault. so, if you're going to stay, focus on the girls who ARE there and have a good time.

    thank you,
from a girl who's been nagged waaayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much this week.

So STFU and hand over your money, eh?

I wonder why the customers being left behind are asking for extras all the time (see decline thread) or simply not showing up anymore.

Interesting situation Penny, esspecially considering a lack of dancers isn't the problem in most clubs, its a lack of money for the ones who are there.

And half of the ones who are there just don't seem motivated to work. I think the Megatouch machine at my home club got more attention from the dancers last night than I did.

I see a couple of possible explanations here:

    1. Your club is in an economically depressed area. In this case, those that used to come in can no longer afford to. That's why they left.

    2. You're in a large metropolitan area with lots of clubs and a good tourist/business traveller industry. In this case the issue might be with your club. It could be pricing. It could be management. It could be the girls working there or it could simply be the fact that your club is no longer the 'place to be seen'.

In either case, there's not much anyone else can do.

My point to this is... what are you doing about it?

You say your club is nearly empty and as a result, many of the girls have left. Why? Because they feel it's no longer worth their while to stay.

You chose to stay, and it would seem that you're not very happy about having done so. As a result, you are making one of the worst mistakes you can make... you're whining about it instead of doing something to fix it! Either leave and go do something else, or read on.

If you're going to stay, I suggest trying to gain rapport with your potential customers. As Doc said, this *DOESN'T* include playing Megatouch all night. Essentially telling your customers to STFU is even worse. They'll simply up and leave!!

Go up and talk to those customers FFS! Don't complain about doing it. Other than leaving, you don't have much choice, if you want to make money that is.

I don't have a good suggestion about how to deal with the 'why it's dead' question. That one's dicy!

I would suggest talking about club politics! It's an exciting topic, at least to the customers. Hey, the worst that can happen is that they give you the boot. Sounds to me like this might be good for you, given your present attitude!.

to explain, my club is suffering because girls are moving around a lot right now because it's dead. i was part of the problem when i left and came back because i disovered that it's dead pretty much everywhere right now.

    and to this..

"So STFU and hand over your money, eh?

I wonder why the customers being left behind are asking for extras all the time (see decline thread) or simply not showing up anymore."

i never said i didnt want them to talk. i said i didnt want them to sit there and nag me about club politics and why we don't have any dancers. there's nothing wrong with wanting the customer to engage in pleasant conversation. do you want a dancer to sit next to you and bitch about how slow it's been?

    well then.

Well, direct the conversation. Just say "I try to stay out of politics and these people are my co-workers, some of whom I don't even know THEIR name!" Movies, ghosts, music, tv shows, friggin Paris Hilton etc. Lots to talk about.

oh i do direct the conversation. i'm talking about guys who can't stop focusing on it. or when i say we can't use the VIP when we don't have a certain ammount of girls, they whine. even when i tell them it's the club rules, and it sucks for me too and etc etc. i start trying to talk about something else and they just keep turning the conversation to the club and the lack of dancers. granted, it's not every guy. just a really big ammount of them lately. i've been there with 15 girls and i've been there by myself. they come and go. we only have a few right now, but the one's we have are honestly all 7-10s

i also get asked "so why can't you take your clothes off" CONSTANTLY. i work in a bikini bar. i explain, tactfully, why i can't. after that it's up to you to leave or stay. again, if you decide to stay, don't ask me 45 more times why i can't take off my top or complain about it non stop. don't beg me to break the rules either. if i've told you no 3 times already, what makes you think that #4 is going to be different?

maybe it's just the guys in tampa. i have friends up north who dance, who never seem to have the same problems.

As a patron I come to an SC to be entertained and to unwind. I dont come to a strip club to discuss the number of girls or the club politics.

Having too few girls can only be a problem if the club is not drawing a sufficient amont of patrons through the door. Its the old theory of supply and demand. If you have a high patron to dancer ratio, you should be in high demand, in which case you really do not have the time to discuss club politics or give a F*** as to how many girls are on.

About a year ago, I posted a thread titled "the wrong GFE". My ATF started to discuss the club politics, her clients and the other girls. As a regular who brought in a lot of business clients, I was friendly with the owners and the managers as well and found this extremely uncomfortable. I no longer enjoyed my time with my ATF and I moved on.

I find it strange that guys would want to discuss club politics. Further, I would consider it rude to ask a dancer who was chatting with me if another girl was on (unless the girls were really good mates), let alone why there were not enough girls on.

Well, me, I want them to shut the fuck up and hand over their money. In my ideal world customers would never say a damn thing except "would you like to dance for me?" interspersed with an occasional "You're pretty."
