What color are your outfits that make you the most money?

While certain colors do represent different things subconsciously, I really don't think that any one color will make money for poeple over any one other color. That red dress that looks great on one dancer may look horrible on the one next to her and so on. I think ultimately it's more important to have the right colored outfit that goes with your complexion, makeup, hair color, build, etc., than it is to subscribe to the theory that one color is better for everyone.

^^I agree with the above, with the caveat that some colors (white, hot pink, lime green) show up better than others in club lighting. Also, dark colors can appear thinner, while light colors can make body parts appear larger.

I sometimes wear a pair of black shorts (I have a big ass) with a white top (I am challenged in the boob department) and always do well like this.

You pretty much need to decide which colors would make You stand out and looks good on you. I agree with the above post!

I don't think that I can attribute one color to making money. Whatever looks good and makes me feel good works for me .

Different colors look good on different people but a customer told me one time that if a girl wears an all white outfit it will catch their eye quick. At first I thought it was just his preference but then I talked to a few guy friends who told me the same thing.
personally i like white at the mo but like has been said it wouldnt work for everyone.

I alwways try to stand out from the other girls, if they're all wearing black, I'll put on something white or something taht will glow in the black light. Obe dancer said "If they can't see ya they can't get a dance".

i agree with DW it's much more about what looks good on -you-. i for one, look HORRIBLE in yellow, but i've seen it look fantastic on girls with darker skin tones.
from observation, for some reason the girls who wore white always got called over more. probably cuz they glow in blacklight.
i hear from colour psychologists (or whatever you call them) said that always wear blue in interviews because it makes you seem more honest. i have no idea about this but i know they've written books on think kinda thing beforei've always gotten hired anywhere wearing black and white lol and more ppl at work talked to me when i was wearing pink.

They love me in red, but mostly I work in pretty bright lighting. I'm a pale skinned (but not porcelain) redhead - you'd think it would clash, but the guys love it - then again it may just be this particular outfit...

nah i'm a pale redhead and red always looks great on me, esp. with red lipstick. my best colors are
black, red, white, dark greens, and dark blues
orange, yellow and pink usually look terrible on me.

I'm kind of weird, I have a specific style I stick to then choose the color. I pick my outfit for the first couple of hours
depending on my mood and what makes me feel sexy. If I get bored with what I am wearing I change. I don't like
the neon colored clothing then again I am a bronzed redheadso I tend to wear white/black/red/pink/
I also try to wear something that matches the style of music I am dancing to that night. I also hate print, even in my day to day
wardrobe I don't do print. I love anything that sparkles but it really does come down to what you feel good in and
what looks good on you.

I look good in maroon (or blood red tones) I love purple, white and pink and good under the lights (shows off my tan) and yup I wear black, but I usually only buy interesting outfits in black, not just a little dress or the such.
Really, in my opinion, it is all personal taste.
However, if you are the girl in glowing hot pink in a sea of dark red and black, guess who stands out and catches the custie's eye?

This isn't always a good thing though. Just because you stand out in a crowd doesn't make you look attractive. Think of it like this...you're standing in a long line at the bank. There's ten people ahead of you. You probably don't even pay attention to anyone in line but then there's that one woman who's 5'5", 240 pounds wearing bright, lime-green spandex pants an a matching top. You probably didn't even notice the other nine people in line but damn if that spandex queen didn't just stand out in the crowd!Originally Posted by cherry_sin

I wear orange, limes, white, turquoise, reds...those look the best on me. I dont' do dark colors because being of a darker skin, you need to be seen in such a dark place.Originally Posted by Pretty_Penny

You know what I was thinking when I read this..this is just like when I wear my orange outfit. If I'm getting dance after dance, custies see that girl in the orange getting dance after dance. BUT, If I can't get a dance to save my life, then that's the same customer saying, "dam that girl in the orange isn't making any money"Originally Posted by DancerWealth

i dont have that many outfits yet, but a large majority of them are pink. i really like to wear bright colors, just cause wearing black makes me feel so bland. my personality is really bright i guess too, so wearing bright colors works for me. if you like to be the mysterious sexy girl black is probably great, but for me pink works great!

I look good in long black dresses - but those are becoming too common around here.
White looks good on me but stains easilly.
I look like SHIT in red. BLAH!
I'm thinking of going dress shopping soon for something new that'll make me feel like a mil.
Ha, totally. I feel this principle at work when I wear my schoolgirl outfit. Most of the time it works fabulously = "Hey, check out that blonde schoolgirl, everyone wants her!". On the off nights that it doesn't, I feel like a tool = "Hey, check out that blonde 'schoolgirl' - who's she trying to kid?"Originally Posted by cinammonkisses
From what everyone has posted thus far, it seems like the key MIGHT be to wear the brightest/most eye-catching color . . . that is flattering to YOU. Know what I mean? If hot pink looks terrible but lime green looks great, go with the green instead of, say, black. I find myself wearing a lot of white and baby pink, and definitely need to get more red stuff - in real life I wear primarily black and dark or neutral colors, but I feel pretty inconspicuous at the club in my normal palette.
And I LOVE wearing white shoes for some reason.

I don't do black really. Or lime green. Just b/c I don't really like lime green. I think a lot of white girls look weird in lime, so be careful in lime. Everyone looks good on certain colors, so you'll have to work with what you look good in. My favs are white, pink, and turquoise.

Turquoise is a hot color if you can pull it off, looks fantastic if you have a tan or you're darker complected.

Check that out it might help it will also help when picking colors when you want to experiment with make-up![]()
Of course, I did indeed mean in a color and style that flatters you, not a giant hot orange grocery sack. LOL. Thanks for pointing out my oversight, DW.
