    Default Mystery Science Theater 3000?

I miss it so much!! I used to watch it faithfully, now I don't think it ever comes anymore ANYWHERE.

Does anyone have like a DVD collection? I would buy them on VHS when I ran across them, but I want like the whole set (at a discount, hopefully). Any suggestions?

Oh yes, my brother & I are massive MST-ies. I still catch myself laughing at inimitable jokes uttered by Crow (who seemed to get the lion's share of sarcastic humor.)

& Yes, I have wacky sex fantasies involving Midwestern guys & me trapped on a Satellite Of Love...LOL..you got it out of me!

Rhino Records catalog was selling episodes....the process of getting some movies cleared for re-distribution leaves some titles in the tube, so to speak Some episodes will only be available on bootleg. The fan websites cover this...

Whichever site is run by BestBrains (the producers of MST3K)...

BTW there's a very funny site done in the style of MST but is a writer's comedy site: (I told her I thought she was a former Best Brainer...she's that sharp.)

I still get sad when the MST episodes conclude....means an end to laughing so hard you cry!

I love MST! I always fast forward through the show, though. I just like watching the movie with their commentary. The show isn't all that funny in my opinion.

I would love to get my hands on a copy of the MST version of The Girl in Gold Boots. I don't think anything in the history of television has ever made me laugh as hard as that one!

Me and my High School buddies used to go to movies and crack on them all the time. When MST3K came out, it was like heaven.

I had a friend who taped every episode.

When I had my radio show in college, I used to say "And to (fill in blank with name of caller), I say Bite me!" the way Crow used to.

My friend Joe built a Tom Servo out of a Gumball Machine.

Yes, MST3K was the best thing since sliced bread.

I heard that they were doing a remake of this show. I use to love it too!

Oh, and I liked the Ray Bradbury theater as well!

I'm a HUGE MST3K fan. My personal favorite was Santa Claus Conquers The Martians. Classic! You can get them on DVD now. Amazon.com carries them. Just do a search and you'll find all the volumes.

I have loved that show since I first saw it in Chicago!

They need to resurrect it, and add cheesy Hercules films and bad Bible epics to the fare, too...

We hadn't heard about it, and were flicking through the channels one night, and were left out of breath, laughing so hard. The show was a treasure.

Oh, I'll have to buy the sets. My brother and I used to laugh our asses off watching this show. It was the one show we could agree to watch. LOL

I was so mad when this show ended...why pull the plug on this show when they could have pulled the plug on all of the stupid shows out there??

But, it's all good if it's on DVD.

If they ever did resurrect the show they'd have to do it with the original cast, I don't see much success for it otherwise unless they got lucky with casting.

the first host...was it Joel? he was way better than the second one. I was always partial to their takes on the old 50's public service films. That, and the one where there was a giant gila monster attacking the town and the army napalmed it, and the line was ":sniiiff: AHHH I love the smell of giant lizard in the morning! Smells like.....chicken."

Or no wait the one where the guy poked the big shirtless guy in the nipple and Crow made a doorbell noise. That made me pee myself. I am having a huge deja vu attack as I type this, as if I have typed it before in a similar thread on here. Hmmm.

I have a few on old VHS tapes from the Comedy Central era when they did all day long marathons of MST3K or Kids In The Hall. I haven't watched them in forever, so I can't comment on the quality.

Yeah, we need to have a petition set up to bring back MST3K and Kids in the Hall!!

Remember the episode, where Bruce McCollough dresses up as that chick and says, "I'm not gonna spread for no roses!"? Classic.
