Default Anybody want the new Razr V3? $18 with 2yr agreement

has the razr phone for free today (with a 2 yr. contract)
There's an 18 dollar processing fee, and you have to have the 59.99 or higher monthly rate, but I thought this was pretty cool because I was going to be paying $50 to replace my phone through insurance and figured this would be the cheaper way to go to get the better looking phone (so sexxxaaay!)

Anyways, thought I'd share, since it's one of those only available for 24 hours type deal. oooOOOooo, and there's free shipping today too!

I really need a new phone..i have the sidekick 2, i am on my second one (thank god for insurance) and this one is once again screwy..the buttons are always going nutso on me it is so aggravating. So i was really thinking about getting the razar...but then i herd that there are many issues with it as well! Do you find that? I dont know if i should invest in it or not...seeing as both ^^ have gotten new ones due to them being broke... hmm hard decision.

The Razr v3 has a serious amount of flaws in it's software. It's also easily broken and even is pending recall on the flip. This is actually noted on the motorola forums. It's also why it dropped in price so dramatically. If you want a phone that has all the abilities and just a little more room taken up in your pocket go with an e815. Otherwise the new slim phone is getting excellent reviews.

I have my e815 sync with my outlook/ical, play MP3s, play movies, take photos, be a flashlight, and even be themeable (I made a transformers theme complete with sounds and optimus background because I...like girls....and girls like guys that...like cartoons?)

the e815 has a similar promotion running through verizon. Dunno about other services.

I've heard a lot of complaints about people who have those. They're really fragile.

If you don't mind the shape/size, get an MDA, IMHO, it's a much better device overall.

bleah. I've ordered it. I'll just make sure that I keep insurance on it and switch to another phone if it really is that bad (and I'm expecting it to be that bad, but heck, my antenna is falling out of my phone, so anything is an improvement.)

Well they've sold a lot of them. And I just believe they fall under the same issue with all phones. Treat them like an expensive object, and they'll last forever.
