I joined a gym last week and I just frickin' love it. I always love having a gym membership! I could work out for three hours every day if I had time... alas, all I have is an hour and a half. I've only been going for a week and already I look better, my arms are getting toned, my skin has cleared up, and I just feel great! Today I decided to kick it up a notch on the Stairmaster and I burned 500 calories just on the Stairmaster alone, not counting the weights! Plus I walk to and from the gym, AND dance at night!
I've had to watch it before because I get totally addicted to this stuff. The last time I had a gym membership, my friends all started worrying about me because they thought I was "too thin" (I was a size 4). But fuck it, I'm healthy and I love it!
And, the trainer at the gym said I should be sure to eat some pizza or cheese every day; apparently a little dairy fat helps repair the muscles. I do love a gym trainer who tells me to have some pizza, heh heh!
