    family comeing over

I display my first ever pair of stripper shoes in bedroom on a shelf with some garters hanging from and a pic of me at the club i love this display becuse it was a huge accomplishment in my life but my grandparents are comming for a visit to see my new house and i was wondering if you think i should take it down until they leave. i don't realy want to becuse i feel so strong about not being ashamed of dancing but it could be disrespectful to have this out with grandparents comming. Any adive would be great. thanks

Do your grandparents know that you dance? Are they OK with it? I think you should be proud of your accomplishments, but if them seeing this display is going to shock them/cause some family tension you might just want to show your display off to people who will appreciate and support you. Do whatever will make your life easier. (We support you here!)

Oh gosh, that is so tricky..i know how you feel. Grandparents are tough because they are from a generation completely different than ours. And it is so hard, because so many of the things i love my grandma looks at badly (tattoos, clothing, brand names, skin, hair, etc) You should really just do what makes you feel most comfortable. Its an important accomplishment in your life and you should be proud, but at the same time you dont want to ruin anything. If they know about you dancing i would leave it...but once again do what makes you most comfortable!

You could always go for that classy "Alcohol Poisoning Impression" Mistress Jenny is so fond of.
