Default possible physical problem(update)(a little long)

I promise not to make this too long. I had written a few days ago that I was dropped while wrestling w/ my husband and my tail bone banged into the edge of a chair in our living room.

I went to work for the first time since it happened last night. I can work out at the gym, but there are certain things I can't do and other things I need to use lighter weights. Not a problem

However, at work last night. I can't do ANYTHING

It hurts to flex my glutes, it hurts to swing around poles, I can't balance on my lower back and spead eagle, no way can I booty pop, I can do some horizontal pole work but can't hang upside down, and my regular wouldnt get laps from me because he felt sorry for me. (WTF??)

Guys that know me tipped me out of sympathy, but there were these very cute guys tht were tipping who probably thought I was stuck up because all I could do was walk to the beat and pose. I don't have time to explain I'm a half cripple.

If I had huge implants, I could probably get away w/ the walk and pose thing. But alas, I am a petite, natural dancer with the third to the smallest titties in the club. Also, I worked w/ some of the more talented dancers last night who are energetic and can dance well. Energy is my middle name, but not now. I made piss poor $ last night.

Anyone have any suggestions as to what moves I can do while I am heeling? Walking in heels doesn't bother me. When guys bought me drinks (we just sell beer) I would use it as an ice pack for my tail bone. ( yeah, I know how it looked).

Also, some of the Hispanic guys think its funny to try to grap the booty. But this time it hurts so much it almost makes me cry. I feel like I have to hide in between sets. Also, my club is mostly a stage tipping club.

    Any input would be great.

Have you been to the doctor yet? Back problems if not monitored can only get worse. You must have majorly bruised that area on the inside.

yeah. I got x-rays on tuesday. I got results this morning and they were normal. I also saw my GP on Monday along w/ my OBGYN on the same day. My GP said he trusts me not to do anything stupid and said to wait until I get x-rays back before I dance agian. He also recommended motrin and viccodin. My OB laughed, checked me out, said if was mos def not broken and said to take hot baths. These docs think I'm super woman or something.

    Tiger, thanks for the link.

Im really glad you went to see a doctor. At least you know where you stand on the healing scale. When I fell I had pain in my thighs and glutes for awhile too. The pain didnt really go away for a few months. I dont have any problems now (years later) as long as I keep in shape.

Any moves that require you to lay on your side, more pole tricks, move slower and take up more time doing certain moves. Thats all I can think of now.

I compromised my tail bone situation last night. My doc said I should get a "donut" or inflated cushion or a childs innertube ring (for swimming). I bought an innertube ring and used it for floor work last night. I didn't hurt my poor coxyx(sp?) and I doubled my money from the night before. It was a tad bit easier for me to move last night.

wow. you're using a donut on stage? well at least you're more comfy and your money improved. If my memory serves me correctly, it's going to hurt alot for at least a couple more weeks, then the pain will downgrade to a dull ache/inconvenience for a couple weeks afterwards.

Like I mentioned in the other thread, I had to work with a bruised tailbone and it fucking hurt like hell. It was not fun. Floor work was completely out. I just did prancing/posing.

It's been a week. It hurts mostly in the morning and I when my butt hits the floor of the stage, can't lean back. When it gets close to the end of my shift, I am more than ready to stop.

It's just so frusterating when some great high energy rock song comes on that I like or a great booty shaking song and I can't go with it
