    Default Question about Licensing

I live in Southern California. Here, any stripper must have a license with the police department and a proof of income. I have a big question... even if I NEVER EVER got any sort of ticket or arrest, how seriously would having this license on my recored affect my chances of finding a career in the future?

I was considering teaching upper high school or college, or entering as an officer in the air force after receiving a master's degree.

Would simply having a license incriminate a woman to such an extent where she could be closed off from job opportunities?

    Thanks much.

I spoke with a really cool teacher of mine last fall semester and he told me that he has met many women in law enforcement that are successful. These women also have stripped with a lisence here in SD.

Also, there is a girl I work with who teaches mentally handicapped children. Im sure as long as you dont get an arrest or a ticket you should be fine. Though, Im not sure if its something that comes out when people run checks on you or they have to be looking for it though?

I suppose you have a point about whether they're looking for it or not. Whew, this is SUCH a relief though! I've been planning on getting my license in a few months because I've been doing tons of political campaigning etc etc. When my mom gets out of the hospital I'm gonna need a job where I'll have time to study and see that she's doing well. =P

Also a job where you get to wear heels and false eyelashes and toy with men for money is appealing. XD

You only need a license in San Diego. Stripping in SoCal is not lucrative anywhere, but at least you don't need a license if you head north a little bit, like to Orange County. I don't think you need a license there. You definitely don't need one in L.A.

If you don't want a license, look around and see how close you can stay without needing one.
