Yesterday while taking off my socks and shoes, I noticed this friggin HUGE blister thing on my ankle. It looks like a bug bite of some sort, probably a spider. There was a little pus, but me (being the brilliant person that I am) squeezed it out. Only in hindsight did I realize that it wasn't the smartest thing to do. The skin around it is bright blotchy red, like someone left a round hicky on my ankle beneath the bite. It's probably about half an inch in diameter, which is big considered it just appeared out of nowhere.
Is there any way to cover this sucker up? The blister doesn't worry me as the red skin does. I mean, I guess I can always grab a circular bandaid and hope they can edit it out, but I've got like fair, fair skin so the "natural tone" bandaids kind of stick out.
My roommate (being the hippie dude that he is) keeps telling me to put contact solution on it because of the saline salt in it. The boy doesn't even wear contacts, so I dunno why he has a bottle just lying around. It seems to have decreased the size of the blister but isn't doing ANYTHING for the red-blotchiness!
Advice? Please, please, please?
