I looove dips! I mean, celery's just celery without somthing on it, right? But, everthing's so fattening!!! Any tips /recipes? So far, Trader Joe's hummas and nonfat ranch is my friend.

If you think school is hard, try being stupid.
Make your own! I love hommus and sundried tomatoes blended together for a healthy dip/spread.
A lite or fat-free salad dressing would be fine. I know a lot of the fat-free ones aren't that great but the "Lite done right" (I think made by Kraft) dressings are pretty good.
there's this creamy veggie dip stuff that has less fat and calories. it's labeled Lite but i just measure out my serving so i'm not over doing it
I like spinach/artichoke dip with feta cheese...you can dip it with pita bread, tortilla chips, celery...whatever!!
happy dipping

I'm a crazy dipper!
I love hummus and tzatziki, but my true love at the moment is Lighthouse homestyle ranch.

I like celery dipped in vinaigrette. Just don't get the fat-free vinaigrette; it's full of sugar to compensate for the missing fat, and some healthy fat is good for you. Get a low fat or regular vinaigrette, or make one yourself with balsamic vinegar and olive oil in a 2:1 proportion, plus whatever spices you like in it.

I like to mix fat free ranch with fat free sour cream, pepper, and thinnly sliced green onion. I make my own hummus and I love salsa!

Make a dip using fat-free cottage cheese..just mix in different spices you like. For me I use a splash of red wine vinegar, salt, fresh ground black pepper, garlic powder, and some minced red onion. Grab your celery and dip away!
My favorite hummus from TJs is the Roasted Garlic. It's the best hummus I've found outside of takeout from a Greek restaurant. Their cilantro hummus is yummy too!

Oooh! Yum! That's what I ate all through high school.Originally Posted by Lola Lee
