    Default Stripping in Maryland

Hi. I work at a beautiful, upscale club in Baltimore, MD. We've been in business over fifteen years and are family owned and opereated. No big, cold corporations here. Business is great and I need to hire some more girls. If you are interested please e-mail me [email protected] Thanks.

*cough* I smell a troll! Why is it that the only posts you've made are repetitions about this annonymous club? What is the name of it? Sounds like Gold Club spam!(the manager of the Philly Gold Club often posts stuff about the Gold Club on other clubs' message boards on stripclublist.com)

I got an email from this same person saying they were the Marketing Director of Nightshift in Baltimore and they could get me an audition if I sent pics...yeah right . They said they saw my response to another poster about dancing there so they contacted me.

This is a load of crap. THIS is the kind of crap that should be moderated out, IMO.

I'm sorry that you girls seem to be so skeptical. I thought you were on here looking for work. I am looking for people to hire. How is this a bad situation? I am a professional simply looking for different ways to recruit dancers. So what's the problem? Sorry if I offended anyone. That was not my intention.

Most of us dancers already have clubs we work at, and yes sometimes we are looking for additional shifts at other clubs. However, the reason that we are skeptical is because you've posted the same "advertising" post about hiring dancers a few times on this website, and your wording was vague. You never actually stated the name of the club or anything specific. Also, the only posts you have on this site are the 2 redundant posts, and now this one. So that has led us to believe that the only reason you made an account/username for this forum is to post an advertisement. Yes advertising a club is helpful, but not when it is worded vaguely. Things such as the club's name, type of club(topless, full nude, bikini, etc), shifts available, and possible perks are good things to mention.

    Re: Stripping in Maryland

Thank you! Now THAT was a helpful reply. Let me explain. I have never been on a site like this because I have always done marketing in very different ways. Recently three girls came to our club from different states to dance for a short period of time. One of them told me about this site. I just assumed that there were lots more girls out there who were looking for other places to work - either temporarily or permanently. I saw it as a good situation for all involved. I was shocked to get slammed but now I guess I understand - sort of. It was not my intention to advertise the club or I would have put the name all over the place. My main focus here is to recruit dancers. And yes, we are a fully nude club. So thanks a bunch for filling me in on it from your perspective. It's been helpful.

If you want to recruit dancers here, you HAVE TO post the club info in order to be taken seriously.

But for the most part, we don't come here looking for work. At least not from *recruiters*. We generally ask EACH OTHER what club(s) is/are good in a particular area, not recruiters. We have seen/experienced too many managers/agents/recruiters/owners bullshitting about the earnings potential, etc at their clubs. So we just ask other dancers for the lowdown and make our decisions from there.

And to reiterate, don't expect to get a bunch of pics from girls hoping to work at some *unnamed* club. You have to post club info and actually convince us you're legit first.

Yeah, especially when you give us an email address like "[email protected]"

WTF??? You could be Peety-dickjerkin'-Wheatstraw for all we know hun, and you expect someone to send pics to an anonymous Yahoo account, that's not even in the mystery club's name? Did I mention it was a "yahoo" account...

Hello! I was contracted through the best dancer to work at nightshift and am one of the dancers that maress is talking about. She is awesome! The people are the best part of this club. The club works hard on advertising and bringing people in. Nightshift has been around in Baltimore forever (I grew up in MD and you couldn't go an hour w/o hearing a commercial on the radio). New girls can clean up if they come with the right atittude. There are some problems- like not being able to sell back to back dances b/c the custy has to buy the dances out at the bar. They put me up in a motel 6 near the airport (with a driver). The good news is they are going to rent a house for dancers within walking distance of stuff to do (mall, etc.). You have to work hard here, but if you are from small town USA and only bringing home 100 or so every night- check it out! Or if you want to visit the area for some reason. Guys tip like crazy on the stage (1's mostly). There are some dancers who don't LD, but they never leave with less than 100. LD are expensive and the club gets half. I thought they would be a hard sell, but the customers are actually used to it. The place can get packed fri/sat. I worked for 12 nights taking only one day off. I worked very hard (lots of stage work, not so much hustle) and I made about 3800. Maybe a little more. I brought food to the club, the cook would heat/prepare it. Or the cook would make me what I wanted. My sister lives in Baltimore, so it was great for me. PM me with any questions or ask them in the thred. Was it wrong for me to tell Maress about SW. She was just so cool and I wanted to share this resourse. I felt like I had a temporary mom while I was there. Thanks Maress!

You are more than welcome. You will forever go down as one of my favorites if not THE favorite. The reason that we do not allow back to back LD's is because we had a problem with some of the girls not being honest. I'm sure you can figure out what I mean. As you know you are welcome to come back ANY time. I mailed the stuff you forgot yesterday. Call me some time or I'll call you, ok?

Thumbs down Re: Stripping in Maryland

I would say no. There has recently been a lot of negative things going on there. The owners are people I would stay away from. They did have someone there who looked out for the dancers but she's gone now too. My opinionis to avoid this place. There are better clubs in Baltimore where you can make more money.
