Default Wanna dance with a young crowd

Last night there was a really young crowd in our club. I wasn't making much money, but I noticed that the girls who were making $ all were doing "wanna dance." Has anyone noticed that this method works with a younger crowd? I am going to try tonight, as Sat is normally packed with young guys.

The younger guys go by looks so they'll buy from any hot girl.

    The older guys want personality.

I don't know how it is anywhere else, but in east st. Louis I found it hard to get college guys to tip. I honestly love dealing with older guys. They walk in drink two beers, buy drinks, tip you to talk to them, and then buy a dance or two. But on night sift they go home at 12 or 1 am, and the younger guys come in.

The party guys aren't so bad, but these college guys come in and act like they're better than you or something. All the stuff that works on everybody else doesn't work on them, couldn't tell you why. This what I did one night, and It work all night long.

I walked up to the guy and sat down. I then said hey, isn't your name Matt, and aren't you in my anthropoligy class, at so and so school?

They say no, I'm soo and soo.

I say, I'm sorry and go on few a few seconds about how he looks like Matt, and how I never had the courage to talk to Matt.

I guess they feel like they're you fantasy guy or something, and because they losen up, buy drinks, tip at your stage, buy a dance or two, and want to know what classes you're taking.

A warning, if you don't know anything about the school you are pretending to be from go with something else like, "He, don't you work at..." Or "Didn't I see you at..." Just as long it's somewhere you know they might have been, and you know enough about it to talk about it.

Also I haven't worked out what I'll do if one day I ask that question, and there are like , yeah that's me.

    Good tip, Rayna, thanks.

You definately gotta do the wanna dance thing- or at least a quick hustle with the younger guys. They are not going to spend a lot on dances - with a few exceptions. I prime them beforehand by walking by and saying hello, but not ask for the dance. Then i will go back and close the deal.

I try and do my dances in the same spot that way the guys that are on the way to my preferred couch see me over and over going to do dances. This builds curiosity and by the time I get a chance to ask them, it's easier to sell. I like to smile and give them a look while I'm walking by like- "sorry I'm so busy but i wish I was with you"

    good luck with the youngins!!!

Yea, young boys ONLY get "wanna dance" out of me. They are usually only holding about $40 (majority in my club have less than that) and quite honestly most young guys aren't expecting a long winded conversation. They aren't like older men who come for the attention. Most young guys come to have a good time.

Thanks for all your responses. I did quite well on Sat using wanna dance with young guys and talking first with older ones. Thanks!

I really "wannadance" the youngins in my club too. I will sit with the younger ones if there are no other prospects though. Young guys usually do not spend as much, and tend to BS you around, so I keep it short and sweet.

usually the newly-minted 18-21 year olds are either literally shaking, brought there "agains their will", or the one or two guys who are trying to show that they're old veterans at the strip club thing. I like dancing for these guys. They like it that I'm not much older than they are and calm down a bit.
