    Default Suburban Philadelphia

    Hi everyone,

I'm brand-spanking-new to SW and I'm already totally addicted to the site.

My name is Mercy, I'm from Rural Pennsylvania, and looking for a good place to start dancing. I've been checking out (and having a blast at!) some of the clubs in my area but it's sort of hard to get a good feel for them as a customer

Are there any fellow Philly-area girls on there that have anything to say, good or bad, about the clubs in Bucks County? So far I've checked out Creekside Cabaret, Cloud Nine, Double Visions and The 19th Hole (um, who thought up that name?).

I'm really excited about this site! Thanks for all your help.

    ~Mercy

Did you audition at Creekside? I'm the DJ there, so....just wondering. Welcome!

Edit: I just saw your picture in another thread, so I can answer that question for myself. Nope, I tend to remember girls with ink. Welcome, nonetheless.

Not yet, although that's (I think) the closest club to me. I actually came in there when you guys first opened, with a BF of mine who knew the DJ. Maybe it was you! We went up to the DJ booth on that cool little platform.

The full-nude thing is a little unnerving, but maybe I should stop by again to check it out. Thanks!

There's only ever been 3 of us DJ types in there. A short bald one, a tall bald one, and a long haired one. I am the tall bald one, and now I am the only one. Now I am intrigued. Hmmm. Oh well. Stop up and say hello if you come in again.

you might want to try going further away from home and into the city, a good beginning bar is maybe Gold Club or Oasis. I work at Crazy Horse too and while the money is great for me, it's not a beginner's type bar. 19th Hole is scummy. Feel free to pm me with q's but I'd say Gold Club, or dangerous curves in Northeast. Cheerleaders is supposed to be pretty good too for a beginner.

    Love it!

Mercy Ward I came to Philly (actually Bucks county too) in October.
The Philly ladies here seem to highly recommend the Gold Club for beginners. I haven't had the chance to go there but if you do, Could you update me on how it is? I'd like to check it out sometime, but I wanna make sure the drive to and from could be worth it. Good luck findind a club!

Tyffani: I've actually never heard of the Gold Club but I'll certainly add it onto my list of clubs to check out. I grew up in Bucks County, so if you have any questions at all, you're totally welcome to PM me. It's nice to hear from a local girl!

Chrissy: 19th Hole *was* scummy! But I liked it anyway. I mean, I wouldn't want to work there, but it was sort of a novelty to go visit, you know?

Mr. Chris and PhillyDJ: I seem to remember this DJ having long, curly hair, but I could be wrong. I was there with a fellow named Bernie. This had to be almost three years ago. The club was fun, though! It was really huge.

    Thanks Mercy.
The Gold Club is down in the city near all the big hotels I think.
I could be wrong though, so you could check out their website. It's worldfamousgoldclub.com. It will give you a better idea than I can.

Gold Club is small, it's a good beginning point, but use it as a spring board. 15th and Chancellor (in btwn walnut and locust) and has a mix of clientele. Use the hustling tips on here and you will make money there.

    Love it!

Okaaaay....I have no idea either. PhillyDj is the only one with long luxurious touchably soft hair, so...yeah. Oh, and we've only been open 2 years. Go figure. Regardless, I'm the only one there now. Unless I go to my brother's wedding. And then PhillyDj might be there. I dont know yet, because the rat bastard hasn't given me a definite answer. Remind me to call him and yell.

I shall keep my opinions on the Gold Club to myself. That's an answer in and of itself, though....isn't it?

MrChris, when are you at Creekside? I live pretty close to there. Maybe I'll swing by and say hey.

heh, yea on the gold club topic... yea... i probably agree with (maybe all of)some of what you have to say, but for a newbie Topless dancer, it's a good beginners spot that's decent. The stage there.. sucks, and has no pole, but there is definitely money to be made there.

and i have not yet been to creekside, the only times i leave the city are for the mall, my parents, and to visit Emily and the crazy dogs she has. how is it there?

    Love it!

Creekside is fun, huge, full nude. And the DJ is a swell guy.

Actually, it's been a bit slow lately....but the same can be said for just about every other club I know of around here. There's still money to be made.

Mercy, I'm there Wednesday-Saturday 6-2. Tonight (Thursday) is a male stripper revue thing, the Men of Las Vegas. (Yay, I love working those ::insert eyeroll here: Creekside girlies take the stage back over at 10. You should stop out.

Chrissy, it's gorgeous here. Woods, rivers, creeks, farms and fields. I live in a little cottage with a big backyard. There's not always tons to do, but we make our own fun

MrChristopher, I'm headed to NYC for the weekend, but I'll make it a point to swing by when I get home. Do you know anything about house fees/ tip-outs/ etc?

I'm going to have to check out the gold club, too. And if there's no pole, there's nothing for me to make an ass out of myself on. Yay!

No pole huh? Does anybody have any suggestions as to what clubs might be better for a more experienced dancer? Ive been dancing for maybe a year, which isnt that long- but I know the ropes and would probably rather work at a bigger club. Topless, All nude- whatever's clever.
