    Hey girls,

    I've always had this luck where I can lose weight pretty quickly. Since I came to America I realized I had gained TWENTY pounds in Australia. Icky! I knew I was feeling sluggish but I thought maybe ten pounds!

    Anyway, I put myself on a diet. I have lost 7 pounds in 3 days. I only want to lose 14 more, but I know if I lose it in another 6 days it could be reallyreally bad for my heath. I'm already having problem sleeping and my stomach hurts really bad (I'm eating!) and I feel sick for the first three hours I'm awake.

    How does a person lose weight slower?

    My metabolism has always been like this (I was the queen of five day diets) but now I realize how unsafe it is.

    What do I do?

    I drink only water. I drop EVERYING but water and 100% fruit juices. Nothing with sugar added. But only juice when I run out of bottled water. I'm drinking 2 quarts of cranberry right now.

    I only eat sandwhiches (healthy), salads and liquid foods. Such as soup or mashed potatoes (anything that can change shape in a glass).

    I also work out while doing everything. I am currently on a yoga ball while typing.

    I lost 4 of the lbs. in the last day! I'm actually -really- worried.

    Oh and I allow myself a treat a day, too. Yesterday I had 6 slices of bacon.

    You need to up the amount of food you're eating. Add some protein, and make sure you're adding healthy fats. (Like putting avocado on your salads/sandwiches) Sounds like you simply aren't eating enough throughout the day.

    Plus, with all the water you're drinking, you've probably dropped alot of water weight, which is to be expected. Your weight loss should slow down now.

    I do eat a lot! I'm allowed to eat as much as I want of sandwhiches and salads. I had four salads and three sandwhiches yesterday... I put feta on my salads. Mmmm feta.

    Yeah... maybe it's the water. I drank 2 gallons yesterday alone. >_>

    Lol yeah I'd say the water has a lot to do with it. If you keep losing weight like that, I'd say see a doctor, otherwise, it's probably just water weight

    I'm wondering also if it's mainly cutting out soda and fizzy drinks. Those are SO bad for you. Last time I cut them out, I lost 10 lbs.

    I have a similar metabolism...I can lose weight really quickly. To lose weight slower (but still lose), eat lots of anything you want except sugar and white flour.

    Also, try new foods. Trying new foods makes me want to eat better and it gives your body something different to digest as well. Like a small surprise. Instead of mashed potatoes try yams or sweet potatoes.
    Seriously, a nutrition book will help alot too. Turkey meat is great and can go into anything from chili and turkey joes. Also, salads with a little tomato, rice vinegar, baby spinach all mixed up. Heat the tomatoes and turkey separate and pour over fresh baby spinach with some rice vinegar as dressing. Poof! Fast, easy and good for you. OH yea low-sodium rice vinegar.

    The trick is getting creative and not getting bored of your diet. My favorite breakfast is 1 whole egg with 3 egg whites with a little bit of cheese with 2 small pieces of whole grain toast.

    Well, piss. I started a liquid diet yesterday too. I did really well till I got home at 8 pm. Then I ate. Aaaaaaargh. Same went for today. I am going to try to be strong the rest of the week. I try to drink 3-4 litres a day whenever I start feeling hungry. But if you have a high metabolism I'd say stick to lean proteins and lots of fruit and veg. Or warm broth or soup....sometimes even a 1/2 cup of froyo or icecream will make your tummy feel full and fulfill your sweet tooth.

    The depo shot has made my digestive system much more sensitive, so I get indigestion and nausea when I overeat. THUSLY, cutting my appetite! Hehe.

    But the 2 month period isn't cool.

    I'm on depo too. I have no periods and maintain my weight. Honestly, I can barely tell I'm on birth control at all until my timer on my phone flashes.
